Thomas Stewart Rogers (born 3 March 1994) is an Australian cricketer. [1] He is a right-arm fast bowler.
Rogers was in the Futures League for the ACT Comets from the 2013–14 season to the 2016–17 season. [2] He was offered a contract for Tasmania for the 2017–18 season. [3] He made his List A debut for Tasmania in the 2017–18 JLT One-Day Cup on 7 October 2017. [4] In March 2018,Cricket Australia named Rogers in their Sheffield Shield team of the year. [5]
He made his Twenty20 debut for Hobart Hurricanes in the 2017–18 Big Bash League season on 30 December 2017. [6] He switched to the Sydney Sixers in 2020–21 but did not play a match for the side and moved back to Hobart for the 2021–22 season before moving to play for Melbourne Renegades in 2022–23.[ citation needed ]
Rogers played six matches for Kent County Cricket Club in the T20 Blast during 2024 and re-signed to play for the club in the group stages of the 2025 competition. [7]
Rogers holds an Education and Arts degrees from the University of New South Wales and is a qualified secondary school teacher.[ citation needed ]
Peter Michael Nevill is an Australian former cricketer who played 17 Tests and 9 T20 internationals for Australia. He also represented New South Wales and the Melbourne Stars,having previously played for the Melbourne Renegades and the Sydney Sixers. He was Australia's regular Test wicket-keeper from the second test of 2015 Ashes series until being dropped in November 2016. He made his Twenty20 International debut for Australia against South Africa on 4 March 2016. He retired in April 2022.

The 2017 JLT One-Day Cup was the 48th season of the official List A domestic cricket competition in Australia. It was played over a four-week period at the start of the domestic season to separate its schedule from the Sheffield Shield season. The tournament was held in Sydney,Brisbane,Perth and Hobart,with all 23 matches to be broadcast live on the Cricket Australia website and app. It was the first time in more than a decade that neither the Nine Network nor Fox Sports (Australia) have hosted a television broadcast of the tournament.
