Holland's Next Top Model is a Dutch reality television series, produced by Endemol, based on Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model. The series began airing in November 2006 on RTL 5, and has enjoyed a fair amount of success in the years since its inception. It has been relatively effective in its mission to find new talent, most notably with discoveries like those of cycle 4 contestant and finalist Patricia van der Vliet, cycle 5 winner Tamara Weijenberg and cycle 7 runner up Sanne De Roo.
The fifth cycle of Holland's Next Top Model premiered on 5 September 2011 on RTL5. Producers of the show aired a joint Belgian-Dutch adaptation of the show, named Benelux' Next Top Model, which ran from September 2009 to November 2010 following the show's fourth cycle. In 2011, it was announced that the two countries would be parting ways and the Dutch version would continue under its original title. Three of the five panel members from the last cycle of Benelux' Next Top Model, including host Daphne Deckers, Bastiaan van Schaik, and Mariana Verkerk returned to the newly independent production.

The series itself immediately derives its format from Spanish modeling series Supermodelo. The show premiered on August 29, 2014.

Two years after the shows initial cancellation following the conclusion of cycle 4, it was announced that the show would be returning with a fifth cycle. The tenth cycle of Holland's Next Top Model premiered on 4 September 2017 on RTL5. Anouk Smulders was replaced by cycle 9 judge Anna Nooshin as the show's new host. Judges Alek Bruessing and Fred van Leer did not return for the new cycle. The new panel of judges was composed of cycle 2 winner Kim Feenstra, photographer Nigel Barker and stylist JeanPaul Paula.
The twelfth and final cycle of Britain's Next Top Model premiered on 19 October 2017 on Lifetime. This was the third cycle of the series to be hosted by former contestant Abbey Clancy. Photographer Nicky Johnston returned for the new series as well. Previous judges Hilary Alexander and Paul Sculfor did not return. Sculfor was replaced by British male model Max Rogers, while Hilary Alexander's place at judging remained open for a guest judge each week. This cycle re-introduced individual critiques as elimination.
