Tore Sandvik (born 30 May 1972) is a Norwegian orienteering competitor and World champion. [1] He won a gold medal in the 1999 World Orienteering Championships in Inverness with the Norwegian Relay team. [2]

International results

Sandvik won two silver medals in the 2001 World Orienteering Championships in Tampere. [3] He finished overall second in the 2000 World Cup. He received a gold medal (relay) and a silver medal in the 2001 World Games, and earned a silver medal in the 2000 European Championships.

Club and national results

Sandvik is a member of the club Halden SK. He has eight victories in Tiomila (1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007), and four victories in the Jukola relay (1995, 1998, 2000, 2003). Eighteen medals in national championships, including six gold medals.

Tore Ruud Hofstad is a Norwegian former cross-country skier who competed from 1998 to 2010. A freestyle specialist, Hofstad is best noted as a member of the Norwegian relay team during three successful FIS Nordic World Ski Championship campaigns.

Sigurd Dæhli is a Norwegian orienteering competitor. He became Relay World Champion in 1981, by participating on the Norwegian winning team in Thun, Switzerland. He obtained bronze in the 1983 Individual World Orienteering Championships in Zalaegerszeg, Hungary.

Elisabeth Ingvaldsen is a Norwegian orienteering competitor and World champion. She won a gold medal in the 1999 World Orienteering Championships with the Norwegian relay team. She received a silver medal in 1997 and bronze medals in 2001, 2003 and 2004.

Anders Nordberg is a Norwegian orienteering competitor. He received a bronze medal at the 2004 World Orienteering Championship, and again a bronze medal in 2007. He finished second in the overall World Cup 2007.

Olav Lundanes is a Norwegian orienteering competitor, hailing from Ålesund. He has won gold medal at the World Orienteering Championships ten times and the European Orienteering Championships four times. He competes for Halden SK.

Magne Dæhli Norwegian orienteer

Magne Dæhli is a Norwegian orienteering competitor, ski-orienteer and cross-country skier. His achievements include five medals in the relay at the World Orienteering Championships, of which three are gold medals. His best individual performances include a silver medal in the long distance from the European Orienteering Championships, and a bronze medal in the middle distance from the 2019 World Orienteering Championships.

Carl Henrik Bjørseth is a Norwegian orienteering competitor. He received a silver medal in the classic course at the 1999 World Orienteering Championships, and a bronze medal in 2001. He received a silver medal in the relay event in 2001, together with Bernt Bjørnsgaard, Tore Sandvik and Bjørnar Valstad.

Harald Thon is a Norwegian orienteering competitor who represented the club IF Sturla and the Norwegian national team. He was part of the Norwegian winning team in relay at the World Orienteering Championships in 1981 and 1983.

In the World Cup his best overall result is finishing second in 2001, as well as several victories in individual races.

Mika Tervala is a Finnish mountain bike orienteering competitor, World Champion and European Champion. He won individual gold medals at the 2002, 2006 and 2007 World Championships, and a gold medal in the relay in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Mika coaches the Finnish national mountain bike orienteering teams since spring 2008.

Päivi Tommola is a Finnish mountain bike orienteering competitor, World Champion and European Champion. She won individual gold medals at the 2002 and 2005 World Championships, and gold medals in the relay in 2002, 2004 and 2007.
