The geography of Vatican City is unique due to the country's position as an urban, landlocked enclave of Rome, Italy. With an area of 49 hectares, and a border with Italy of 3.5 km (2.2 mi), it is the world's smallest independent state. Outside the Vatican City, thirteen buildings in Rome and Castel Gandolfo enjoy extraterritorial rights. The country contains no major natural resources, and no known natural hazards other than those that affect Rome in general, such as earthquakes.
The Pylons of Messina are two free-standing steel towers, the Sicilian one in Torre Faro and the Calabrian one in Villa San Giovanni. They were used from 1955 to 1994 to carry a 220 kilovolt power line across the Strait of Messina, between the Scilla substation in Calabria on the Italian mainland at 38°14′42″N15°40′59″E and the Messina-Santo substation in Sicily at 38°15′57″N15°39′04″E.

The Torre Colpatria is a 50-story skyscraper in the downtown area of Bogotá, Colombia. It is the fourth tallest building in the country. Constructed from 1973 to 1978 and opened in 1979, it has a total height of 196 metres (643 ft), becoming the tallest skyscraper of Colombia and holding that title until 2016, when the south tower of the BD Bacatá was topped off. The main headquarters of the Colpatria Bank are located in the building, and also a great number of other banks and financial corporations have offices in it. The building lies at the intersection of 26th street and 7th avenue, in the heart of the city's downtown.
The Faros del Panamá is a skyscraper complex currently cancelled in Panama City, Panama. The complex, designed by Chapman Taylor, includes Torre Central, an 84 floor building with a planned height of 346 metres. As its name states, Torre Central is in the middle of Faros de Panamá's three tower complex. Torre Central will be the tallest of the three, rising from a common podium with the other two towers. The two smaller towers, rising on either side of Torre Central will be similar in design. They are named, very simply, Torre Oeste on the west and Torre Este on the east. Despite being small compared to Torre Central, the East and West Tower will still be 290 m tall and have 73 floors. The name of the complex, Faros del Panamá, translates into English as Lighthouses of Panama.
Gran Torre Costanera, previously known as Costanera Center Torre 2, and also known as El Costanera by the locals, and previously known as Torre Gran Costanera, is a 62-story skyscraper in Santiago, Chile. It is the tallest building in South America, the second tallest building in Latin America and the fifth tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere. The tower was designed by Chilean architects Alemparte Barreda & Asociados, the Argentine architect César Pelli and the Canadian company Watt International. The building will be the tallest in South America until the completion of the newest Senna Tower in the city of Balneário Camboriú in Brazil with 509 m (1,670 ft) tall.
Truist Place, formerly SunTrust Financial Centre, is a 525 ft (160 m) skyscraper in Tampa, Florida. It was completed in 1992 and has 36 floors. Cooper Carry designed the building, which is the 4th tallest in Tampa. It was designed to take a 110 miles per hour (180 km/h) wind load.
The United Nations Business Center is a commercial complex located in the city of São Paulo, in the Brooklin Novo neighborhood in the district of Santo Amaro. It is located between the Marginal Pinheiros and Engenheiro Luís Carlos Berrini Avenue, with the main entrance along Engenheiro Luís Carlos Berrini Avenue. It has 277,446.18 square metres (2,986,405.8 sq ft) of building area, including shopping center and the West, North, and East Towers. Started in 1989, the project was completed around the year 2000, due to economic problems.
