The Tour de Hokkaido is an annual professional road bicycle racing stage race held in Hokkaido, Japan since 1987 as part of the UCI Asia Tour. It is rated by the International Cycling Union (UCI) as a 2.2 category race.

Contents

The event for 2018 was canceled due to the earthquake which occurred the day before the race. In 2020 and 2021, the race was canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2023, a traffic accident that caused the death of a participant forced the interruption of the 1st stage in midway and the cancellation of the following stages of the event. [1] [2]

The Tour of Qinghai Lake is an annual professional road bicycle racing stage race held in the Qinghai province of China since 2002, named after Qinghai Lake. The race is sanctioned by the International Cycling Union (UCI) as a 2.HC race as part of the UCI Asia Tour. The race was to become part of the new UCI ProSeries in 2020, although the event in 2020 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2021 and 2022 events were held as a class 2.2 race with all domestic teams due to the international travel restrictions during the pandemic. The race returned to the UCI ProSeries in 2023.

The 2007–08 UCI Asia Tour was the 4th season of the UCI Asia Tour. The season began on 28 October 2007 with the Japan Cup and ended on 15 September 2008 with the Tour de Hokkaido.

The Tour of Hainan is an annual professional road bicycle racing stage race held in Hainan Province, China. The race consists of nine stages and has been part of the UCI ProSeries since 2023, previously having been on the UCI Asia Tour. The event was first held in 2006. It was made a UCI 2.1 race from 2007 and upgraded to category 2.HC in 2009. The race was due to be part of the new UCI ProSeries in 2020, but the race was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Drapac–EF p/b Cannondale Holistic Development Team was an Australian UCI Continental cycling team focusing on road bicycle racing. It was founded in 2004 by Michael Drapac to promote cycling in Australia and became a UCI team in 2006. In November 2013 the team was promoted from UCI Continental to Professional Continental status. In June 2016 it was announced that Drapac would become co-sponsor of the UCI WorldTeam Cannondale for the remainder of the year, before a merger with Drapac Professional Cycling for 2017. The 2020 UCI World Tour was a series of races that was scheduled to include thirty-six road cycling events throughout the 2020 cycling season. However, some of races were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tour started with the opening stage of the Tour Down Under on 21 January, and concluded with the final stage of the Vuelta a España on 8 November.

The 2021 UCI ProSeries is the second season of the UCI ProSeries, the second tier road cycling tour, below the UCI World Tour, but above the various regional UCI Continental Circuits.
