Train is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language film written and directed by Mysskin. The film is produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu under V. Creations. It stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role.

The film was officially announced in November 2023, in addition to the official title. Principal photography commenced the following month and ended by October 2024. The film has music by Mysskin, and cinematography by Fowzia Fathima.

Production

In late March 2023, it was reported that Vijay Sethupathi would play as the lead actor in Mysskin's directorial. Sethupathi previously played a cameo role in Mysskin's Pisaasu 2 . [2] In late May, Mysskin, during a promotional interview for Maaveeran (2023), revealed that there is discussion for a possible collaboration. He further revealed that the script work is in progress and the project will open when it commences. [3] In mid November, reports claimed that Malayalam actor Jayaram was to play the lead antagonist role. [4] On 30 November, Kalaipuli S. Thanu of V. Creations made a public announcement of the project. The look of Sethupathi and the title of the film was revealed the same day. [5] Fowzia Fathima was brought on-board to handle the cinematography, in her comeback to the industry after 21-years. [6] A muhurat puja was held on 1 December in Chennai with the presences of the film's cast and crew. [1] Principal photography commenced on 1 December 2023, [7] and had ended by early October 2024. Music

The music and background score is composed by Mysskin himself, in his second film as a composer after Devil (2024). [9]

Mugamoodi, subtitled onscreen as The Superhero Within, is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language superhero film directed by Mysskin and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur. The film, which is dedicated to Bruce Lee, stars Jiiva, alongside Narain, Pooja Hegde, Nassar, Selva and Girish Karnad. In the film, Anand alias Bruce Lee, a martial artist, wears a superhero costume in order to impress his girlfriend Shakthi, but Anand gets framed for his friend Viji's death and sets out to prove his innocence by becoming a real superhero called Mugamoodi.

Thambikottai is a 2011 Indian romantic action comedy film directed by R. Ammu Ramesh and produced by R. K. Suresh.
