Train Tracks is an EP by Australian band Southern Sons. The EP was released in Australia in July 1991 and reached number 40 on the ARIA charts. It is a limited edition pressing, released shortly after the release of their debut self-titled album.

'74 Jailbreak is an EP by Australian rock band AC/DC, released in 1984. It is composed of five tracks that had previously been released only in Australia. Despite the EP's title, the song "Jailbreak" was actually recorded in 1976 and was originally released that year on the Australian version of the Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap album. The EP's four other tracks were originally released on the Australian version of the band's debut album, High Voltage, recorded in 1974 and released early the following year.

Southern Sons was an Australian rock band, formed in Melbourne, Victoria in 1989 by members of The State along with lead vocalist and guitarist Irwin Thomas, who was then using the stage name Jack Jones. Extended Play is a 1981 EP released by new wave band The Pretenders. "Message of Love" and "Talk of the Town" featured on this EP were also included on their second album Pretenders II released later the same year. "Porcelain" and "Cuban Slide", outtakes from their Pretenders debut album, were included on disc two of the 2006 and 2021 remastered editions of their debut album and on the Pirate Radio box set. The live version of "Precious" on this EP, recorded at their New York Central Park performance on 30 August 1980, was finally released on CD on November 5, 2021. The booklet for disc one of the Pretenders debut album from the 2015 UK Edsel/Rhino Records box set 1979–1999 incorrectly states "Precious" is from that Central Park performance. Instead, the box set version is from their Boston performance of 23 March 1980; it is also included on disc two of the 2006 remastered edition of Pretenders.

Demolition Man is an EP released by A&M on September 21, 1993 and November 1, 1993 (UK) in support of the Sylvester Stallone/Wesley Snipes film Demolition Man. It features Sting's re-recording of The Police track "Demolition Man", as well as several live recordings. The live recordings were recorded at Villa Manin, Codroipo, Italy on 25 July 1993. The US and International/European EP release features the title track and five live recordings and sales for this release were listed on the US Albums Chart, as the UK release was a standard single which featured an exclusive single version of the title track as well as the album version and two live recordings. The UK release charted therefore on the UK Singles Chart, where it peaked at number 21.

Irwin Thomas is an American-born Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist. He performs professionally using the stage name Jack Jones from when he was the lead vocalist-guitarist in the band Southern Sons (1990–1996).

The State were an Australian band, which formed as The Cutters. Their second single, "Real Love", was nominated for the 1989 ARIA Award for Best New Talent. They released their debut album, Elementary, in February 1989. After the State disbanded, all four members formed Southern Sons with Jack Jones late that year.
