Barry County is a county located in the southwest portion of the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 34,534. Its county seat is Cassville. The county was organized in 1835 and named after William Taylor Barry, a U.S. Postmaster General from Kentucky. The town of Barry, also named after the postmaster-general, was located just north of Kansas City, not in Barry County.
Cassville is a city in Flat Creek Township, Barry County, Missouri, United States. According to the 2020 census, the population of Cassville was 3,190. Cassville is one of the primary markets and job centers for an estimated 14,000 people living in the surrounding area. It is the county seat of Barry County.
Chestnutridge is an unincorporated community in southwestern Christian County, Missouri, United States and is located approximately fourteen miles south of Ozark and about 3.5 miles southeast of Spokane. The community is located on Chestnut Ridge, at an elevation of 1325 feet. It is on Missouri Route BB just east of Missouri Route 176 and about two miles west of U.S. Route 65.
Jenkins is an unincorporated community in Barry County, Missouri, United States. It is located on Route 39, just north of Route 248, approximately twelve miles northeast of Cassville. Jenkins Creek flows through the community and its confluence with Flat Creek is just to the south.
Golden is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in southeastern Barry County, Missouri, United States. It is approximately 20 miles (32 km) southeast of Cassville. It is located south of Table Rock Lake and one mile north of Missouri Route 86 on Highway J. At the 2020 census, Golden had a population of 275.
Pleasant Ridge is an unincorporated community in northern Barry County, Missouri, United States. It is located on Missouri Supplemental Routes Z and VV, seven miles east of Monett.

Jenkins Creek is a stream in Barry County, Missouri. The stream source at the junction of the East and West forks is at coordinates: 36°49′24″N93°41′17″W just north of Leann and the confluence with Flat Creek is at: 36°46′30″N93°41′06″W just south of Jenkins.
Leann is an unincorporated community in northeast Barry County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community is on Missouri Route 39 approximately two miles north of Jenkins. Jenkins Creek flow past the east side of the site. Cassville is twelve miles to the southwest.
Lohmer is an unincorporated community in Barry County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community is located on Missouri Route 76, east of Cassville and within the Mark Twain National Forest.
Madry is an unincorporated community in northeast Barry County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community is located on Missouri Route 39, approximately 6.5 miles south of Aurora.
McDowell is an unincorporated community in Barry County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.

Jolly is an unincorporated community in eastern Newton County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. A variant name was "Jollification". The community is on Capps Creek approximately eight miles west-southwest of Monett in adjacent Barry County and five miles southwest of Pierce City in southwest Lawrence County.
