"Tribulations" is a 2005 song by LCD Soundsystem. It is the seventh single from the band's eponymous debut album. The single's cover was designed by Michael Vadino for DFA Design.[ citation needed ]
The song is featured in the opening theme to the Sound Opinions radio show, the 2005 video game Project Gotham Racing 3 , the 2006 video game Driver: Parallel Lines , and The Office episode "Night Out". It is additionally a playable song in Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party 2 .
The video for "Tribulations" was first aired in August 2005. It was directed by Dougal Wilson and produced by Colonel Blimp. It features James Murphy walking around through various screens, sometimes walking out of a screen into the real setting just to walk back into the next screen. [1]

His compilation mix, Tiga Non-Stop, was released in November 2012, and premiered Tiga's latest single "Plush". The mix also features tracks from artists such as Kindness, Duke Dumont and Blawan.
DFA Records is an American independent record label founded in 2001 by Mo' Wax co-founder Tim Goldsworthy, musician James Murphy, and manager Jonathan Galkin. They previously had a production team called The DFA, consisting of Goldsworthy and Murphy.
"Daft Punk Is Playing at My House" is the fifth single from LCD Soundsystem, released on February 21, 2005. Sound of Silver was produced by the DFA and recorded during 2006 at Long View Farm in North Brookfield, Massachusetts and DFA Studios in New York, New York. Upon release, Sound of Silver received acclaim from music critics, and it was later nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards. The group's later released EP, entitled A Bunch of Stuff, was composed entirely of songs from this album.

Shut Up and Play the Hits is a 2012 documentary film directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace that follows LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy over a 48-hour period, from the day of the band's final gig at Madison Square Garden to the morning after the show. The film also features intermittent segments from an extended interview between Murphy and pop culture writer Chuck Klosterman. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on 22 January 2012, and was released in the USA for one night only on 18 July 2012. UK showings were held on 4 September 2012.
"DoYaThing" is a single by British alternative rock virtual band Gorillaz, featuring LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy and André 3000 of Outkast. The single was released on 23 February 2012. It was commissioned by Converse as a part of their "Three Artists. One Song" project where three artists collaborate on a track. The song is also the starting point for a limited edition Chuck Taylor All-Stars collection designed by Gorillaz artist Jamie Hewlett. The shoe designs feature artwork from other projects related to Gorillaz. It was released in two different versions: the approximately 4-and-a-half-minute radio edit, and the explicit 13-minute version. The former was released as a free download on Converse's website, while the latter was released for streaming on Gorillaz's website. The cover features a baboon representing Murphy and a masked figure representing André 3000, referencing the single cover for "I'm a Goner" by Matt and Kim.
