Jacob's Mouse were a three-piece indie rock band from Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England, consisting of identical twins Hugo and Jebb Boothby on guitar and bass respectively, and singing drummer Sam Marsh.

Smudge are an Australian rock and indie pop trio formed in 1991 by Paul Duncan on bass guitar, Alison Galloway on drums and Tom Morgan on guitar and vocals. Now (1996) and Real McCoy Wrong Sinatra (1998), before going into hiatus from late 1999. Since 2002, Smudge play a few times a year. There has been no new music since 1998.
Grifters is an indie rock/alternative rock band based in Memphis who have released albums on Darla Records, Doink, Sonic Noise, Shangri-La Records, and Sub Pop Records. The band released five studio albums from 1992 to 1997. In the years following 1997, the band had breaks in activity with some members pursuing other musical projects and with the band sporadically touring in the years after. However, in recent years they have continued to tour on a consistent basis and have stated interest in recording new material. The band has released and reissued some of their material on Bandcamp.
The Family Cat were a British independent band, formed in Stoke Newington, London in 1988. Three members were originally from Cornwall, one from Plymouth and one from Southampton.

The Dentists were an English indie rock band from the Medway towns in England, who were active from 1984 to 1995. The band's permanent members were Mick Murphy, Bob Collins (guitar) and Mark Matthews (bass). The band also had three different drummers: Ian Smith (1984–1986), Alun Jones (1986–1991) and Rob Grigg (1991–1995). All members participated in writing songs. Mark ('Jock') Reid was Mick Murphy's predecessor as lead singer for the band in 1983 when they were known as The Ancient Gallery.
Comet Gain are a British indie pop band, formed by singer-songwriter and guitarist David Christian in 1992, with musical influences including post-punk and northern soul. Pitchfork called them "one of the most underrated contemporary indie bands in the UK".
Cable were an English indie rock band originally from Derby, who released three studio albums: Down-Lift the Up-Trodden (1996), When Animals Attack (1997) and Sub-Lingual (1999) on Infectious Records. The band split up in 1999, before briefly reforming in 2012.
My Dad Is Dead was a recording project of musician Mark Edwards. The project began in Cleveland, Ohio in 1984. My Dad Is Dead has released twelve full-length albums before it officially ended in 2011. A new group called Secular Joy was formed later that year in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Of Thick Tum is the first album by Trumans Water. BBC disc jockey John Peel heard this album and was so impressed by it that he played it in its entirety on his show. The band initially self-released a small pressing of this album on vinyl in 1992, with each copy in a handmade and unique jacket with inserts varying from locks of hair to photographs of their relatives. In his review of the follow-up, Spasm Smash XXXOXOX Ox & Ass in Melody Maker, Everett True stated that his copy had included "a Far Side birthday card, the foreword to a book on setting up private hospital rooms, an advice sheet on insurance, some small intestines, and a cloth sleeve which is too small for the LP to fit inside". The album was re-released in the United States by Homestead Records on CD and LP. Subsequent British and Japanese issues of the album contained considerable bonus material.
Godspeed the Punchline is an album by Trumans Water. It was released in January 1994 by Homestead Records in the United States and Elemental Records in the UK. This album was preceded by three other "Godspeed" albums--Godspeed the Static, Godspeed the Vortex and Godspeed the Hemorrhage—all of which featured improvised, lo-fi music. Godspeed the Punchline can probably be considered the proper, studio follow-up to Spasm Smash XXXOXOX Ox & Ass. It is the last studio album recorded with Glen Galloway before he left to form Soul-Junk. The album was described as "eighteen short blasts of negasonic tumult" by David Sprague of Trouser Press, while Mark Jenkins of The Washington Post stated that the songs "can wander aimlessly or suddenly turn on the siren and race straight to their destination".
Milktrain to Paydirt is an album by Trumans Water. It was released in August 1995 by Homestead Records. It was their first studio album without Glen Galloway, and their first album with Kevin Cascell on drums. It was also their last release on the Homestead label. The song "Off-Peak Arson" features Thurston Moore on guitar. Trouser Press described the album: "The herky-jerky rhythms of "Unitraction Bath" and "Mnemonic Elf Lock" pack a particularly potent post-Fall punch, but that's not always enough to offset the self-congratulatory quirkiness that seems so ingrained in the band's approach".
The Peel Sessions is a 1995 album by Trumans Water, released on the Strange Fruit label. It collects all of the songs recorded during their three appearances on John Peel's BBC Radio 1 program.
10 x My Age is a 1993 EP by Trumans Water, released by Elemental Records. It was released as a CD and as a 10" record pressed on white vinyl.

Mule was an American punk blues band from Michigan, active in the early 1990s. Formed from the ashes of Wig and Laughing Hyenas, their music incorporated elements of hardcore punk, blues-rock, and country music.
The Psylons were an English post-punk band formed in Portsmouth, England in 1984 by Keith Wyatt, Carl Edwards, Jack Packer and Warren Grech. The band produced four singles, an EP and two albums, the second of which, “Gimp” was produced by Jim Shaw of Cranes. The debut single "Run To The Stranger" was a New Musical Express Single of the Week and reached number 13 in the Alternative/Indie chart. Two sessions were recorded for BBC Radio One and broadcast on the John Peel and Andy Kershaw shows.
