Pisces Iscariot is a compilation album by American alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins released in 1994 through Virgin Records, consisting of B-sides and outtakes. Reaching number 4 in the U.S. upon its 1994 release, Pisces Iscariot was certified platinum by the RIAA on November 23, 1994. The album was initially to be called Neptulius.
A double album is an audio album which spans two units of the primary medium in which it is sold, typically records and compact disc. A double album is usually, though not always, released as such because the recording is longer than the capacity of the medium. Recording artists often think of double albums as comprising a single piece artistically; however, there are exceptions such as John Lennon's Some Time in New York City and Pink Floyd's Ummagumma and OutKast's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. Another example of this approach is Works Volume 1 by Emerson Lake and Palmer, where side one featured Keith Emerson, side two Greg Lake, side three Carl Palmer, and side four was by the entire group.

It was first released on August 14, 1997 by Constellation Records on vinyl and on June 8, 1998 by Kranky on CD. Recorded at the Hotel2Tango in the Mile End of Montreal, the album is devoid of traditional lyrics and mostly instrumental, featuring lengthy songs segmented into movements and wide dynamics. It was initially released in very limited quantities, and was mainly distributed through live performances and advertised by word of mouth.
"Sliver" is a song by American rock band Nirvana, written by vocalist and guitarist Kurt Cobain. It was originally released as a non-album single in 1990 by the band's then record label, Sub Pop. The same recording was re-released by DGC on the compilation album Incesticide in December 1992, and a music video for the song was released to promote the album.
Ommadawn is the third studio album by English musician, songwriter, and producer Mike Oldfield, released on 28 October 1975 on Virgin Records. It peaked at No. 4 on the UK Albums Chart. The album was reissued by Mercury Records in June 2010 with additional content. A sequel album, titled Return to Ommadawn, was released on 20 January 2017.

Junk Culture is the fifth studio album by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), released on 30 April 1984 by Virgin Records. After the commercial disappointment of the group's experimental 1983 album Dazzle Ships, OMD and Virgin intended for the band to shift toward a more accessible sound on its follow-up release. The record spawned four singles, including the chart hits "Locomotion" and "Talking Loud and Clear".
Lotus is a 1974 live album by the Latin rock band Santana, recorded at the Osaka Kosei Nenkin Hall, Osaka, Japan in 1973. It was originally released in 1974 as a triple vinyl LP in Japan only. This version of the album was later released internationally.
Vital: Van der Graaf Live is the first live album by English progressive rock band Van der Graaf Generator. It was recorded 16 January 1978 at the Marquee Club in London and was released in July, one month after the band's 1978 break-up. The album was credited under the abbreviated name Van der Graaf, like the previous year's The Quiet Zone/The Pleasure Dome (1977), and featured the same line-up plus newcomer cellist Charles Dickie, who had officially joined the band in August 1977, and original saxophonist and flautist David Jackson, who re-joined the band for this recording.
Background was the first LP released by Lifetime. It was recorded in 1992 and was originally released on January 1, 1993, as New Age Records #15. The CD version was re-issued on July 1, 1997, with nine live bonus tracks. It is currently out of print although all the songs including the live bonus tracks are available on the Somewhere in the Swamps of Jersey collection. The European edition of the album is entitled Ghost and has different artwork and track listing. Ghost was released by Break Even Point Records as a 12" vinyl LP with a limited pressing of 1,000.
Pink is the tenth album by Japanese experimental music band Boris. It was originally released in 2005 through Diwphalanx Records in Japan and subsequently reissued in 2006 by American label Southern Lord Records. The album received favorable reviews, particularly for incorporating more melody into the band's abrasive sound.
Spasm Smash XXXOXOX Ox & Ass is the second album by Trumans Water. It is their first double-album and was released in 1993 on Homestead Records in the United States and Elemental Records in the UK. There is also a Japanese re-release of the album with a radically different track listing. Everett True, in a 1993 review of the album, described it "Imagine Pavement if they were five Gary Youngs with the songwriting ability of two Steve Malkmuses". Chris Sharp, writing in Lime Lizard stated "there are 20 tracks here, but each one feels like at least three songs grafted together in some bizarre musico-genetic experiment".
Godspeed the Vortex is an album by Trumans Water. It was released on vinyl in 1993 and on CD in 1994 by Negative Way Out Records, and is the second in a series of three "Godspeed" albums, all featuring improvised music.. David Sprague of Trouser Press said of the album: "Riddled with intriguingly abrasive guitar figures that apply Eastern modality and post-Sharrock prolapse, the album shifts from ambient to demanding with pinpoint precision", while Allmusic's Skip Jansen described it as "Eleven stabs of ecstatic lo-fi noise and avant-rock moves".
Pinky Blue is the second album by British pop group Altered Images. It was released in May 1982 and featured the hit singles "I Could Be Happy", "See Those Eyes" and "Pinky Blue".
Live at Hollywood High is a recording by Elvis Costello and the Attractions from a 1978 concert at Hollywood High School in Los Angeles, California. Three songs from the concert were originally included as a bonus 7" vinyl EP that sold with initial pressings of the Armed Forces album in 1979. A 2002 re-issue of Armed Forces added six tracks to the three from the EP and placed them in proper running order. In 2010, the Hip-O Select label released a full version of Live at Hollywood High with all 20 tracks from the concert on one CD.
Barely Real is the 1992 extended play (EP) by the American indie rock band Codeine. After releasing their previous album Frigid Stars LP in 1990, the group accepted an invitation from the quartet Bastro to tour in Europe in 1991. Following the tour the group was invited to record a single for Sub Pop Singles Club and attempted to record their follow-up album The White Birch in 1992. The recording sessions proved to be disastrous for the group since it found themselves often with unusable tracks over several different studios. As Codeine could not record enough material for a full-length album, they decided to release what tracks they had as an EP.
