Turntablism is the art of manipulating sounds and creating new music, sound effects, mixes and other creative sounds and beats, typically by using two or more turntables and a cross fader-equipped DJ mixer. The mixer is plugged into a PA system and/or broadcasting equipment so that a wider audience can hear the turntablist's music. Turntablists atypically manipulate records on a turntable by moving the record with their hand to cue the stylus to exact points on a record, and by touching or moving the platter or record to stop, slow down, speed up or, spin the record backwards, or moving the turntable platter back and forth, all while using a DJ mixer's crossfader control and the mixer's gain and equalization controls to adjust the sound and level of each turntable. Turntablists typically use two or more turntables and headphones to cue up desired start points on different records.
The Kings of Rhythm are an American music group formed in the late 1940s in Clarksdale, Mississippi and led by Ike Turner through to his death in 2007. Turner would retain the name of the band throughout his career, although the group has undergone considerable line-up changes over time.
Doug Carrion is an American musician, audio engineer, record producer, and music editor. He played bass guitar in the punk rock bands the Descendents and Dag Nasty during the 1980s, and in the hard rock band For Love Not Lisa in the early 1990s, and is currently in the band Field Day. He has had a long working relationship with Brad "Daddy X" Xavier, playing with him in the punk rock bands Doggy Style and Humble Gods, working with his rap rock group the Kottonmouth Kings in the 2000s, and playing on his solo albums. Carrion has also composed, edited, and recorded music for television and films, including several reality television series and game shows during the 2000s. In 2012 he started his own Americana group, Doug C and the Blacklisted.
Dustin Gary Miller, best known by his stage name D-Loc, is an MC in the rap rock group Kottonmouth Kings and rap group Kingspade. The group was signed to Suburban Noize. Miller has been a part of the Kottonmouth Kings since they were the P town Ballers (PTB) in 1994. Miller is also known by the stage names DJ Shakey Bonez, and D-Double Dash.
Royal Highness is the debut studio album by American hip hop group Kottonmouth Kings. It was released on August 11, 1998, through Suburban Noize/Capitol Records. Recording sessions took place at A&M Studios in Hollywood, at Can-Am Recorders in California, at the Ogden House, and at 1605 Studios in Huntington Beach. Production was handled by member Daddy X, who also served as executive producer, Mellow B. De Lear, Marco Forcone, Dog Boy and I Timothy. It features guest appearances from Too Rude and Humble Gods.

Production was handled by members Daddy X, who also served as executive producer, DJ Bobby B and D-Loc, as well as Mike Kumagai and Dog Boy. It features guest appearances from Dog Boy and Judge D.

High Society is the second studio album by American hip hop group Kottonmouth Kings. It was released June 27, 2000 via Suburban Noize/Capitol Records. Production was handled by member Daddy X, who also served as executive producer, Mike Kumagai, and co-producer Phil Kaffel, except for one track, "King's Blend", which was produced by Eric "E-Man" Roger. It features guest appearances from Dog Boy, Corporate Avenger, Grand Vanacular, Insane Clown Posse, Sen Dog, T.S.O.L., and Sky Blue.

Recording sessions took place at Suburban Noize Compound and at Electric Ghetto Studios in Venice Beach. Production was handled by Mike Kumagai and member Daddy X, who also served as executive producer together with Kevin Zinger. The album peaked at number thirty-nine on the Billboard 200, No. 14 on the Top Rock Albums, No. 19 on the Top Rap Albums, No. 3 on the Independent Albums, No. 39 on both the Top Internet Albums and the Billboard Comprehensive Albums in the United States.
Hidden Stash is the first B-sides and rarities collection and second official album by the Kottonmouth Kings, released on October 26, 1999. Shortly after the release of their previous album, Royal Highness, Saint Dog left the group to pursue a career with his brother Big Hoss, who, according to the song "Big Hoss," was in prison at the time Royal Highness was made. To replace him, they called in original Kottonmouth King Johnny Richter, who was part of the group until 2013.
Stoners Reeking Havoc is the Kottonmouth Kings' first EP-CD released on February 24, 1998. Kottonmouth Kings also put tracks 1,3 and 4 on their next three albums. In a 2015 interview with Johnny Richter, he stated that he was a member of the group at the time of the EP's release but wasn't on it due to personal issues with another member of the group.
Hidden Stash III is the second B-sides and rarities collection from the Kottonmouth Kings, released on November 21, 2006, and is a 3-disc CD-DVD combo. The album peaked at No. 199 on the Billboard 200 and No. 12 on the Top Independent Albums chart for the week of December 9, 2006. The album is composed of B-sides, remixes, solo tracks from Kottonmouth Kings members, and songs by other artists that feature guest appearances by Kottonmouth Kings members.

Cloud Nine is the eighth studio album by American hip hop group Kottonmouth Kings. It was released on August 28, 2007, under Suburban Noize Records. Band member Daddy X stated that Cloud Nine is the "most adventurous" Kottonmouth Kings album release to date. Cloud Nine features artists such as Tech N9ne, the Insane Clown Posse, and Cypress Hill. It includes a bonus DVD containing videos for the songs "City 2 City", "Livin' Proof", "Think 4 Yourself", and others that not only include the Kottonmouth Kings, but also that of their newly signed labelmates. The album title was thought up by band member Pakelika. It is meant to show that it is their ninth official album and also referred to the so-called "greatness of being high with the heavens".

The group plays hip hop, punk and rap rock songs that sometimes incorporate elements of other genres, including psychedelic rock, reggae, dubstep, bluegrass and jam band.
Bryan David Mahoney, known by his stage name Big B, is an American rapper currently signed with Suburban Noize Records as a solo artist. Along with John E. Necro, he performs vocals in the band OPM, which is also signed with Suburban Noize.
Axe Murder Boyz are an American hip hop duo from Denver, Colorado, United States best known as representatives of the horrorcore and gangsta rap subgenres. It consists of brothers Mike and James Garcia, who perform under the names Bonez Dubb and Young Wicked, respectively. Their rap personae is loosely based on characters in the 2000 Bill Paxton horror movie Frailty, a film about two young brothers forced to become "demon Slayers" and participate in the brutal killings of evil creatures from hell living here on earth who look like normal people.
