The Tulu Cinemotsava 2015 is an award ceremony for Tulu films. The awards ceremony has been instituted to honour both artistic and technical excellence in Tulu language Film Industry.

Vitla Manohar is an Indian music director, lyricist, film director and actor in Kannada and Tulu movies. He has scored music to several Kannada and Tulu films. He is the recipient of several awards including the Karnataka State Award. He has written lyrics to more than 1000 songs in Kannada cinema.
Oriyardori Asal is a 2011 Indian Tulu language film directed by H. S. Rajashekar and produced by Roopa Vijayakumar Kodialbail, starring Likith Shetty, Ramya Barna, Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar and Rekha Das in the lead roles. It is the most successful Tulu film till date. The film is based on the famous Tulu comedy drama with the same title, written by Vijayakumar Kodialbail. He also wrote the story, screenplay, dialogue and lyrics for the film.
Nirel (transl. Shadow) is a Tulu-language film directed by Ranjith Bajpe and produced jointly by Shodhan Prasad and San Poojary, starring Anoop Sagar, Varuna Shetty, Deepthi, Sachin Padil, Deepak Paladka. This will be the first film produced overseas and planned to shoot completely in Gulf Region. The film is based on the Kannada Script "Nadu Naduve" by Karthik Gowda and later converted to Tulu by Ranjith Bajpe. Karthik Gowda also wrote the screenplay for the movie, and dialogues written by Ranjith Bajpe. Cast for the movie was totally selected by an audition at Fortune Grand Hotel Dubai. The people behind "Nirel" is a group of four friends, San Poojary, Ranjith Bajpe, Rajneesh Amin and Sachin Padil.
