The Wild Thornberrys is an American animated television series created by Arlene Klasky, Gábor Csupó, Steve Pepoon, David Silverman, and Stephen Sustarsic for Nickelodeon. The series portrays the zany hijinks of an American family of wildlife documentary filmmakers known as the Thornberrys, which consist of the British nature documentary television host Nigel, his wife and camera operator Marianne, their 16-year-old daughter Debbie, their younger daughter Eliza, their adopted son Donnie, and a chimpanzee named Darwin. The series focuses in particular on Eliza, who has a magical ability to communicate with animals. The Thornberry family travels to every continent and wildlife environment in the ComVee, a recreational vehicle equipped with safety mechanisms to handle any terrain or body of water, to document their journeys in detail, with typical episodes involving Eliza befriending an animal and subsequently finding herself in peril.

Pingu is a stop-motion animated children's television series co-created by Otmar Gutmann and Erika Brueggemann that originally aired in Switzerland. It was originally produced from 1990 to 2000 by Swiss company The Pygos Group for SF DRS in Switzerland. It was later revived from 2003 to 2006 for CBeebies by British companies HIT Entertainment and HOT Animation. The series focuses on a family of anthropomorphic emperor penguins who live in the South Pole, the main character is the family's son and title character, Pingu.

It was produced by Telemagination, based in London, and La Fabrique, based in Montpellier in France, but also aired in other European countries. The first countries to air the series were Norway, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Italy, and the United Kingdom, in January 1993.

The wonderful Adventures of Nils is an anime adaptation of the 1906 novel The Wonderful Adventures of Nils by the Swedish author Selma Lagerlöf. The 52 episode series ran on the Japanese network NHK from January 1980 to March 1981. The series was the first production by Pierrot. The anime was mostly true to the original, apart from the appearance of Nils's pet hamster, and the larger role given to Smirre the fox. The music was written by Czech composer Karel Svoboda; Yukihide Takekawa provided the soundtrack for its original Japanese broadcast and for some other countries.
Iggy Arbuckle is an animated television series that premiered on Teletoon in Canada on June 29, 2007. Based on a comic strip from National Geographic Kids, the show is created by Guy Vasilovich, and focuses on a pig who happens to be a forest ranger, known in the series as a "Pig Ranger", and his best friend Jiggers the beaver. The plot involves Iggy's attempts to protect the environmental structure of the fictional Kookamunga National Park. It was produced by Blueprint Entertainment, in association with C.O.R.E. toons, National Geographic Kids, and Teletoon and distributed by Oasis International. The series was cancelled on October 10, 2007 after one season.
