Tuxedos is the eighth EP by American indie rock band Cold War Kids. This was the follow-up to their fourth studio album Dear Miss Lonelyhearts and was released digitally on September 17, 2013, by Downtown Records. [1] On August 15, Cold War Kids announced that they were going to follow up Dear Miss Lonelyhearts by releasing a six-track EP on digital only. [2] Besides the title track, the EP features an alternate version of "Bottled Affection", covers of Antony and the Johnsons ("Aeon") and The Band ("You Don't Come Through") [3] and two previously unreleased tracks in the US ("Romance Languages #2" and "Pine St."). [2]
To promote both efforts, the band went on a 32-city US headlining tour with support act Papa, [4] ending in early November. [2] The band further promoted their EP by shooting a music video for the track "Pine St." and premiered it on their record label's YouTube page on November 13, 2013. [5]

Seether are a South African rock band founded in 1999 in Pretoria, Gauteng. The band originally performed under the name Saron Gas until 2002, when they moved to the United States and changed it to Seether to avoid confusion with the deadly chemical known as sarin gas. Lead vocalist and guitarist Shaun Morgan is the band's longest serving member, bassist Dale Stewart joined shortly after formation while drummer John Humphrey joined them for the band's second album. Since 2018, the band has been employing second guitarist Corey Lowery. Several notable guitarists like Corey's brother Clint and Troy McLawhorn have toured or recorded with the band, however, Shaun has recorded most guitar parts for the band's records.
Dann Gallucci is an American songwriter, producer, musician and audio engineer best known for his work with Modest Mouse, The Murder City Devils, and Cold War Kids. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Gallucci met Modest Mouse's Isaac Brock in Seattle, Washington in 1993, playing guitar with the band intermittently before joining full-time to record several singles that would eventually appear on the album Sad Sappy Sucker, released by independent record label K Records in 2001.

Written and co-produced by all four band members and Matt Wignall, it originally came from their third EP Up in Rags (2006) and is the second track off their debut album Robbers & Cowards (2006). Lyrically, the song tells a story of a 'one-sided relationship' and uses the action of hanging wet clothes on a clothesline as a metaphor for the relationship.

Benjamin John Howard is an English singer songwriter, musician and composer. His self-released debut EP Games in the Dark (2008) was followed by two more EPs, These Waters (2009) and Old Pine (2010). Signed to Island Records, his debut studio album came in 2011 titled Every Kingdom.
