Tyron Hirantha Wijewardene (born 29 August 1961), is a Sri Lankan cricket umpire and former cricketer. He was elected to the International Panel of Umpires and Referees as Sri Lanka's second umpire.
As a cricketer, Wijewardene was a left-handed bowler, taking 9 wickets in his 5 First-class appearances for Saracens Sports Club in 1990/91. He was also a useful lower order batsman, getting one half-century having batted in just 5 innings.
Following an early retirement from cricket, he began umpiring and has stood in both Test cricket and One Day Internationals; standing in two matches during the 2003 Cricket World Cup.

He previously also served as the chairman of English football club Burnham FC. In April 2019, Gould announced that he would retire as an umpire following the 2019 Cricket World Cup. On 6 July 2019, Gould retired from umpiring, after officiating in the World Cup match between India and Sri Lanka. However, he has since umpired in matches in the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
Deshabandu Handunnettige Deepthi Priyantha Kumar Dharmasena is a Sri Lankan cricket umpire and former international cricketer. He is a member of the Elite Panel of ICC Umpires and the first person to participate in an ICC Cricket World Cup final both as a player and an umpire. A right-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler, Dharmasena was a member of the Sri Lankan side that won the 1996 Cricket World Cup.
Robert Timothy Robinson is an English cricket umpire and former cricketer who played in 29 Test matches and 26 One Day Internationals for England from 1984 to 1989. He was a part of the English squad which finished as runners-up at the 1987 Cricket World Cup.

The two sides played a triangular ODI series also involving New Zealand, following which they played a three-match Test series. India's tour also included a one-day and a three-day fixture ahead of the ODI and Test series respectively.

The Sri Lanka national cricket team toured India during the 1997–98 cricket season, playing three Test matches and three One Day Internationals (ODIs). Both series were drawn; all three Tests were draws, and each side won one of the ODIs, tying the series 1–1. The other ODI, which was held on 25 December, was abandoned after three overs had been bowled, when after discussion between the two captains and the match referee, it was determined that the inconsistent bounce of the pitch was too dangerous for the players. This was the first occasion on which an international cricket match had been called off for this reason.
