Pure is the second studio album by English industrial metal band Godflesh. It was released on 13 April 1992 through Earache Records. Though originally labeled only as industrial metal, the album has since been recognised as one of the earliest post-metal releases. Musically, Pure is rhythmically mechanical and features harsh guitars, with protracted songs and an abundance of deliberate repetition. Like much of Godflesh's music, it is regarded as particularly heavy and aggressive, and these elements helped it gain critical acclaim.
Nika Roza Danilova, known professionally by her stage name Zola Jesus, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. Her music has been noted for combining elements of electronic, industrial, classical, and goth. Born in Phoenix, Arizona, she spent her formative years in northern Wisconsin, where she began writing and recording music independently while attending college. During her second year of studies, she released two singles through the independent label Sacred Bones, followed by two EPs. Her debut album, The Spoils, was released in 2009.

Sarah Elizabeth Blaskow, known professionally as Sarah Blasko, is an Australian singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. From April 2002, Blasko developed her solo career after fronting Sydney-based band Acquiesce between the mid-1990s and 2001. She had performed under her then married name, Sarah Semmens, and, after leaving Acquiesce, as Sorija in a briefly existing duo of that name. The original cover art features a darkened version of the painting The Death of Marat, painted by Jacques-Louis David during the French Revolution.

Symptoms is the third studio album by American singer Ashley Tisdale. The album was released through Big Noise Music Group on May 3, 2019. Symptoms follows Tisdale's second studio album, Guilty Pleasure (2009), marking 10 years since her previous full studio release. Tisdale enlisted John Feldmann for the album's production, and collaborated with songwriters including Rachel West, Scot Stewart and Dylan McLean for much of the album's content. A pop and electropop album, Symptoms chronicles Tisdale's silent battle with depression and anxiety, while employing implicit lyrics to give the songs multiple meanings. It is Ashley’s first album to contain songs with explicit and profane lyrics.

It was produced by Whitearmor with contributions from a variety of record producers, including Gud and Joakim Benon. Its title is a use of to the holy number 3, which is a recurring theme in Drain Gang's music. 333 is a cloud rap album that explores themes of introspection and love, and contains upbeat instrumentals. It charted in Scotland and the United Kingdom, and received a lukewarm review from Anthony Fantano, who considered it an improvement over Bladee's previous work.

Census Designated is the second studio album by the American musician Jane Remover. It was released by DeadAir Records on October 20, 2023. After releasing her debut album Frailty to critical praise in 2021, Remover came out as a trans woman the following year and changed her stage name to Jane Remover. A majority of Census Designated was inspired by a self-described "near-death experience" that Remover encountered on a road trip through a blizzard. She was also inspired by horror movies that she watched while creating the album. It was written in a variety of locations, including her house, school, and on the road while touring with Brakence. The album's tracks went through numerous revisions as she wanted to clean up her vocal performances and oversaw the mixing process to make it as "perfect" as possible. It was recorded in both Remover's house in New Jersey and at Studio North in Philadelphia and was entirely produced by Remover herself.
Ragana is an American black metal duo from Olympia, Washington formed in 2011. In 2014, the band relocated to Oakland, California. As of 2024, both members have moved back to Olympia. The band has been described as a “queer antifascist black metal/doom duo".
