Union councils are the smallest rural administrative and local government units in Bangladesh. Each Union is made up of nine Wards. Usually one village is designated as a ward. There are 4,554 unions in Bangladesh. A Union Council consists of a chairman and twelve members including three members exclusively reserved for women. The Lumding–Sabroom section is a railway line under Lumding railway division of Northeast Frontier Railway zone of Indian Railways. It is a single 1,676 mm broad gauge track from Lumding in Nagaon District of Assam state to Agartala in West Tripura district of Tripura state. The 43 km long 1,676 mm segment from Agartala southwards to Udaipur, Tripura was completed in 2016 and became operational on 23 January 2017. The remaining 70 km long track to Sabroom at the bank of Feni River at Bangladesh border is expected to be completed by 2020.
Kulgachia is a small town Panchayet of Howrah district in the state West Bengal, India. The rail station located at the center of the town is only 40 km from howrah station and NH6 is only about 500 meter from the station area. Over the last five years it has been changed, developed and grown drastically to a town from village life though it is under panchayet raj administrative system yet.
