Umon (Amon) is an Upper Cross River language of Nigeria.

<i>Grendizer</i> manga

UFO Robot Grendizer, also known as Force Five: Grandizer in the United States, is a Japanese Super Robot anime television series and manga created by manga artist Go Nagai. It is the third entry in the Mazinger trilogy. The anime television series was produced by Toei Doga and Dynamic Planning and broadcast on Fuji TV from October 5, 1975, to February 27, 1977, and lasted 74 episodes. The robot's first appearance in the United States was as a part of the Shogun Warriors line of super robot toys imported in the late 1970s by Mattel, then in Jim Terry's Force Five series, both under the title Grandizer. It is still widely popular in the Middle East, and it was especially popular in France and Quebec, as well as among French speaking Canadians in the province of New Brunswick, where it was aired under the title Goldorak. It was also very popular in Italy, where it was aired under the title Goldrake, starting in 1978.

Miller Smith Puckette is the associate director of the Center for Research in Computing and the Arts as well as a professor of music at the University of California, San Diego, where he has been since 1994. Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger is a Japanese tokusatsu television series and the sixteenth installment in the long-running Super Sentai metaseries of superhero programs. Produced by Toei and Bandai, it aired on TV Asahi from February 21, 1992 to February 12, 1993, with a total of 50 episodes. It was the first Sentai series to have a regular Sixth Ranger. It was also the first Sentai series to be adapted into an installment of the American Power Rangers series. Footage from all 50 episodes was extensively used for the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The core Zyuranger costumes were used in all three seasons of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and were used as the original Power Rangers costumes while the Dragon Ranger costume was adapted into the Green Ranger's costume and was used throughout Season 1 and in early Season 2. The title Toei gives this series for international distribution is Galaxy Rangers.

Grendizer, Getter Robo G, Great Mazinger: Kessen! Daikaijuu is an animated film produced by Toei which premiered originally in July 18, 1976 in Japan. It is a crossover of three super robot anime: Grendizer, Getter Robo G and Great Mazinger. Like the rest of the Vs. animated films of Toei, the movie features alternate versions of events from the three series and is not canonical to any of them. The film was released in almost all countries where the original Grendizer series was broadcast. It is known as Il Grande Mazinga, Getta Robot e Goldrake contro il Dragosauro in Italy and Goldorak: L'attaque du Dragozaure in France and some parts of Canada.

<i>Uchu Enban Daisenso</i> 1975 animated short film directed by Yūgo Serikawa

Uchu Enban Daisenso, translated and also known as Battlefield of The Space Saucers and The Great Battle of the Flying Saucers, is a 1975 animated short film created by Go Nagai and produced by Toei Doga. It is also known as Space Disk War and was also released in Italy under the name UFO Robot Gattaiger-La grande battaglia dei dischi spaziali. It was originally shown along with the short film Great Mazinger tai Getter Robot G: Kuchu Daigekitotsu, also from Toei and Nagai. The movie is considered the prototype for the future anime television series UFO Robot Grendizer, which premiered the same year.

Akunakuna

The Akunakuna are an ethnic group of Nigeria and Cameroon, closely related to the Efik and Ibibio peoples, mostly inhabiting the area around the Cross River. Recent figures have indicated there are over three hundred fifty thousand Akunakuna people.
