Una Rosa Blu (A Blu(e) Rose) is the seventh studio album by Mexican pop singer-songwriter Gloria Trevi,released by Univision Records on October 2,2007 (see 2007 in music) in Latin America and the United States. [1] It was produced by Sergio George, Bob Benozzo and Armando Avila. This album sold over 2.000,000 copies. In the US,the album sold about 50,000 copies during the first day of release [4] 1 and later received gold and platinum certifications by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) .2 In Mexico,it received Gold and Platinum certifications and reached fifth place in nationwide sales. Una Rosa Blu reached its highest position of number 3 on the Billboard Latin Pop Albums,within a few weeks of its release. In Spain it was one of the Top 100 best selling albums in 2009. Promotion of Una Rosa Blu was accompanied by five simple:Psicofonia,Cinco Minutos,Pruebamelo,El Favor De La Soledad and Lo Que Una Chica Por Amor Es Capaz which were published between 2007 and 2009. These singles reached the top five radio stations in popularity in Mexico and Latin America. Renowned producer Sergio George was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award in 2009 in the category "Producer of the Year" for his work on La Vida Se Va,track number 7 on Una Rosa Blu,and his other productions with various artists. Armando Avila,who produced most of the songs on the album,was recognized as "Producer of the Year" at the Billboard Latin Music Awards in April 2010.

Gloria de los Ángeles Treviño Ruiz, known as Gloria Trevi, is a Mexican singer, songwriter, dancer, actress, television hostess, music video director and businesswoman known as "The Supreme Diva of Mexican Pop". Since 1998, her name has been linked to the Trevi-Andrade Clan, an organization with cult-like overtones accused of sexual abuse, corruption of minors and labor exploitation, led by Trevi's former representative, Sergio Andrade.
Mexican recording artist Luis Miguel has released 21 studio albums, 30 compilation albums, three extended plays (EP) two live albums, two soundtrack albums and five box set. Luis Miguel has sold over 60 million records, making him one of the best-selling Latin music artists of all time. Luis Miguel is also the artist with the second-most number ones on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart with nine albums. At the age of 11, he released his debut studio album, Un Sol (1982), which was certified platinum and gold in Mexico. The artist would release four more studio albums under the record label EMI: Directo al Corazón (1982), Decídete (1983), También es Rock (1984), and Palabra de Honor (1984). A Portuguese-language version of Decídete and Palabra de Honor were released in Brazil as Decide Amor and Meu Sonho Perdido, respectively. Luis Miguel made his acting debut in the film as the lead role on Ya nunca más (1984) and recorded its soundtrack. In 1985, he participated in the Sanremo Music Festival 1985 with the song "Noi ragazzi di oggi"; it placed second in the Big Artist category and was later included on the Italian-language edition of Palabra de Honor. In the same year, Luis Miguel recorded the soundtrack for the film Fiebre de amor, which he co-starred with fellow Mexican singer Lucero.
Limón y Sal is the fourth studio album released by Mexican singer-songwriter Julieta Venegas. Recorded in Buenos Aires, Argentina, it was first released in Mexico on May 30, 2006 and in the United States on June 6, 2006. The album's overall themes deal with the general ups and downs of life and relationships. All the songs were composed by Venegas, with the exception of three songs, where she had the help of Coti Sorokin, Dante Spinetta and Cachorro López. Some notable songs are "Primer Día" with its reggae rhythm, sung in a duet with Dante Spinetta, "De Qué Me Sirve", where she plays the accordion in a tango and "bolero" fashion and "Eres Para Mí", a pop duet with Chilean singer Anita Tijoux.
