The United Polo Players Association (UPPA) is a local governing body for the sport of Polo in the Philippines. UPPA was founded in 2018 after giving nod by the Philippine Olympic Committee officials to host an international polo event in the country. [1]

It is currently headed by its chairman, 1-Pacman Partylist Representative and GlobalPort Batang Pier team owner Mikee Romero and President Toti Garcia, son of former Philippine Sports Commission chairman Richie Garcia. [1]

William "Butch" Ramirez is a Filipino sports official. Ramirez is the current Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman under President Rodrigo Duterte's administration succeeding Richie Garcia. Ramirez is the only chairman of the country's sports authority who served for two terms, first from 2005 to 2009 under former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, and second is from 2016 onwards under President Duterte.

Sinigapuna is a Filipino rice dish cooked with turmeric and other spices. It originates from Kalagan people of the Caraga and Davao Regions of Mindanao. It is similar to the Maranao kuning, and Indonesian nasi kuning.
