The United States national wheelchair handball team is the national wheelchair handball team of the United States of America and is overseen by USA Team Handball.

History

6 June 2024 USA Team Handball announced that they received a wild card for the 2024 Wheelchair Handball World Championship. [1] One day later they announced the coaching staff and there will be try outs from 5th to 7th July 2024. [2] They try outs were held at the Beard–Eaves–Memorial Coliseum at the Auburn University. [3] [4]

Wheelchair rugby league is a wheelchair-based version of rugby league football, one of two recognised disability versions of the sport. It was developed in France in 2000. Unlike other wheelchair sports, people without disabilities are allowed to compete in top-level competition. The sport is also unique in the fact that men and women of any age can play against each other in top-level competition.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2021 Nor.Ca. Women's Handball Championship</span> International handball competition

‌The 2021 Nor.Ca. Women's Handball Championship was the fourth edition of the championship, held from 22 to 27 August 2021 at Elgin, United States under the aegis of North America and Caribbean Handball Confederation. It was the first time in history that the championship is organised by the USA Team Handball. It also acted as the qualification tournament for the 2021 World Women's Handball Championship, with the top team from the championship directly qualifying for the event to be held in Spain. The tournament was held behind closed doors, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2024 Wheelchair Handball World Championship will be a 4×4-wheelchair handball tournament held in Cairo, Egypt from 16 to 21 September 2024. The games will be played at the Hassan Moustafa Sports Hall.
