The University of Science and Technology - Omdurman is a non-profit organization which was founded in March 1995. [2] The founder and chairman of the university is Elmutaz Elberier. [3]
The University of Science and Technology is located in Omdurman (Standard Arabic Umm Durmān أم درمان), the largest city in Sudan and Khartoum State. It aims to expand the base of computer and applied science; starting with the faculties of information technology, computer science and computer engineering which became known as the electrical and electronic engineering faculties; with four departments (communication, medical engineering, electronic and computer engineering and computer programming).
Then the university opened new specialties such as Medical Laboratories Science and medicine were followed by it after ten years of two programs Dentistry and Pharmacy.
The year 2001 saw the start of the architecture program and then in 2002 came the business administration program. In 2005 another department was added to the engineering faculty which is a chemical engineering.
Mahidol University is an autonomous public research university in Thailand. The university was founded as part of Siriraj Hospital in 1888. In 2017 it had become home to 5,000-6,000 students and costs US$15,000 for the school of medicine in 2018. The university has 14 faculties. In 2014 the University stated that 60% of its students were foreign.

Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) جامعة فاروس بالإسكندرية is the first private university in Alexandria, Egypt. The first Egyptian private university, in Alexandria, established by Republican Decrees Nos. 252 of 2006, 302 of 2009, and 659 of 2020, it is an accredited university whose degrees are equivalent to those from the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities and the Ministry of Higher Education. As internationalization is one of PUA’s key strategic goals, PUA has built numerous collaborative links with European, American, and Asian universities with which it works closely to ensure its students receive a global standard of education. Collaborations include various activities such as staff and student exchange, program development, joint research, and Erasmus+ programs. The University of Pharos was established in accordance with the latest internationally acknowledged standards and parameters regarding higher education quality, and is supported with advanced highly equipped scientific laboratories. The University has signed a series of cooperation agreements with a number of European and American universities in order to benefit from their advanced modern teaching methodologies and sustainable development in the various fields of science, as well as the application of international quality systems. In accordance with that, many student and faculty staff member exchange programs are organized between PUA and other universities in order to take advantage of the expertise of those universities and achieve further development.

University of El Imam El Mahdi is a public Sudanese university based in the town of Kosti, Sudan. The university was founded in 1994 as a public university funded by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It is named in honor of Muhammad Ahmad al-Mahdi, the leader of the Mahdist revolution which overthrew the Ottoman-Egyptian administration and established their own "Islamic and national" government in Sudan (1885–1898).
