Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA and Puerto Rican rapper and singer Ozuna are scheduled to release their upcoming second collaborative studio album sometime in 2024, through Real Hasta la Muerte and Aura Music. The album's title has not yet been confirmed. The album will serve as a follow-up to their collaborative studio album Los Dioses (2021), as much as Anuel AA's upcoming fifth solo studio album and Ozuna's sixth solo studio album Cosmo . [1]

Background and promotion

After the release of their collaborative album Los Dioses , Anuel AA and Ozuna claimed that a second part of the project will come out. In October 2023, Ozuna announced another album with Anuel AA in a live with Puerto Rican rapper Benny Benni. In late December 2023, Ozuna stated that he is working on an album together with Anuel. [2]

In 2024, Ozuna hinted on the upcoming project with the title Los Dioses 2 multiple times, even after the appearance of the artists in the single "Bad Boy" by Chris Jedi, Gaby Music and Dei V.

In March 2024, Anuel AA came as a surprise guest at Ozuna's concert in Altos de Chavón, Dominican Republic where they announced that the name of the upcoming album is unknown yet. Later the singers confirmed the project in an interview for Dominican radio host and celebrity interviewer Santiago Matías, known as Alofoke. Ozuna stated that Anuel AA and he recorded more than 20-30 songs and the album won't contain Latin trap songs and only reggaeton would be included as much as corridos tumbados songs, since he has confirmed the participation of Natanael Cano in the album. Anuel AA said that the title of the project is not decided but it won't be Los Dioses 2 because "God is only one and nobody is bigger than him". [3] [4]

In another intervew, Ozuna stated that the upcoming collaborative album with Anuel AA will contain more than 12 songs. He also said the title of the project is not selected and it's not sure if it will be titled Los Dioses 2.

Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado , known simply by his surname Ozuna, is a Puerto Rican singer, born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico to a Dominican father and a Puerto Rican mother. Five of his studio albums have topped the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart, with Aura (2018) charting at number seven on the Billboard 200. His musical style is primarily defined as reggaeton and Latin trap, although he has collaborated with several artists from different genres and his music takes influences from a wide variety of genres, including pop, rock, hip hop, R&B, reggae, bachata, dembow, and electronic, amongst others.

Carlos Enrique Ortiz Rivera, known professionally as Chris Jedi or Chris Jeday, is a Puerto Rican record producer. He is recognized for working with artists such as Rosalía, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Wisin & Yandel, Ozuna, De la Ghetto, Anuel AA, Cardi B among others. He has won Billboard Latin Music Awards for producer of the year in 2019.

Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago, known professionally as Anuel AA, is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer. His music often contains samples and interpolations of songs that were popular during his youth. He is seen as a controversial figure in the Latin music scene for his legal troubles and feuds with fellow Puerto Rican rappers Cosculluela, Ivy Queen and Arcángel as well as American rapper Lil Pump Raised in Carolina, Puerto Rico, he started recording music at age fourteen and began posting it online four years later in 2014, before eventually signing to the Latin division of fellow American rapper Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group. His 2016 mixtape Real Hasta la Muerte was well-received, but his success was put on hold the same year by a 30-month prison sentence for illegal firearm possession in Puerto Rico. Los Dioses is a collaborative studio album by Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA and Puerto Rican singer Ozuna. It was released on January 22, 2021, by Real Hasta la Muerte, Aura Music and Sony Music Latin. The production on the album was handled by multiple producers including: Tainy, DJ Luian, Ovy on the Drums, Foreign Teck, Súbelo Neo, Mambo Kingz and Mvsis. The pair previously collaborated on numerous singles, including "China", "Adicto", "Brindemos" and "Cambio".

Formerly announced as an EP with the title Me Fui de Gira, the project follows his studio album Las Leyendas Nunca Mueren (2021) as its second part.

The song was produced by J Castle and was originally supposed to be a single by Casper Mágico, Luar La L and iZaak. The artists decided to add Anuel AA in its final version.
