Uqi Chaka (Aymara uqi brown, grey-brown, chaka bridge, [2] "grey-brown bridge", also spelled Okhe Chaca) is a mountain in the Bolivian Andes which reaches a height of approximately 4,780 m (15,680 ft). It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Luribay Municipality. Uqi Chaka lies northeast of Qillwan Quta at the road which connects Patacamaya (Patak Amaya) and Luribay. [1] [3]
Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. Uqi Uqini is a 5,532-metre-high (18,150 ft) volcano in the Andes. It is situated in the Cordillera Occidental on the border of Bolivia and Chile.
