DSP Media is a South Korean entertainment company established in 1991 by Lee Ho-yeon. The company operates as a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management and concert production company, and music publishing house. In January 2022, the company was acquired by RBW.
Kara is a South Korean girl group formed by DSP Media in 2007. The group's current lineup is Gyuri, Seungyeon, Nicole, Jiyoung, and Youngji. Kara made their debut in March 2007 with their first studio album, The First Bloooooming, and its title track, "Break It." Originally a quartet composed of Park Gyuri, Han Seungyeon, Nicole Jung, and Kim Sunghee, Kara showcased a strong female image and a mature R&B sound. Expectations for the group were high because they were considered the successors to their senior labelmates, Fin.K.L; however, their debut was a commercial failure. The following year, Sunghee left the group due education issues and parental pressure, and members Goo Hara and Kang Jiyoung were added.
Pretty Girl is the second extended play by South Korean girl group Kara. It was released on December 4, 2008. A song with the same name was released as the title track to promote the album. The title track is a lively and upbeat track that showcases the group's catchy melodies and energetic choreography. A repackage of the EP, titled Honey , was released on February 12, 2009, and spawned the single "Honey".
On Air (Korean: 온에어) is a 2008 South Korean television series, starring Kim Ha-neul, Park Yong-ha, Lee Beom-soo and Song Yoon-ah. The series is a behind-the-scenes look at a fictional television drama, revealing details about what normally goes on behind a TV drama production. It aired on SBS TV from March 5 to May 15, 2008 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 21 episodes.
Lupin is the third Korean extended play (EP) by South Korean girl group Kara, released on February 17, 2010, by DSP. The concept and artwork of the album is based on French writer Maurice Leblanc's fictional gentleman thief, Arsène Lupin. The EP sold over 64,000 copies in 2010, ranking as the 16th best-selling album of the year in South Korea.

Karasia are a series of concert tours by South Korean girl group Kara. The first concert tour titled Karasia began in Seoul, South Korea in February 2012, and continued with 12 shows in Japan starting in Yokohama in April. Sweetune (Korean: 스윗튠) is a South Korean music producer team, originally consisting of Han Jae-ho and Kim Seung-soo, and now including nine other members. They have produced many hit songs and albums for Korean idols and Japanese idols, including Kara, Rainbow, Infinite, Nine Muses, Boyfriend and Spica. Sweetune is known for their 1980s-style synth-pop and disco sound.
Yoon Chae-kyung, is a South Korean actress and singer. Yoon began her career with debuted as a member of Puretty under DSP in Japan during 2012 and the group later disbanded in January 2014. Following the disbandment, Yoon appeared as a contestant in the 2014 Kara's reality show for searching a new member Kara Project. She also appeared in the reality show Produce 101 and later in the mockumentary series The God of Music 2 which she became a member of project group C.I.V.A and also joined the fan-made group of Produce 101, I.B.I both respectively in 2016. Yoon later was added as a member of the DSP girl group April in 2017 and participated in group activities until their disbandment in 2022.
Jang Gyu-ri is a South Korean actress and former singer. She finished ninth in Mnet's girl group survival show Idol School, becoming a member of the resulting girl group Fromis 9. She gained more recognition after starring in the television series It's Okay to Not Be Okay (2020). Jang left Fromis 9 and Pledis Entertainment after her contract with the company expired.
