Kara is a South Korean girl group formed by DSP Media in 2007. The group's current lineup is Gyuri, Seungyeon, Nicole, Jiyoung, and Youngji. Kara made their debut in March 2007 with their first studio album, The First Bloooooming, and its title track, "Break It." Originally a quartet composed of Park Gyuri, Han Seungyeon, Nicole Jung, and Kim Sunghee, Kara showcased a strong female image and a mature R&B sound. Expectations for the group were high because they were considered the successors to their senior labelmates, Fin.K.L; however, their debut was a commercial failure. The following year, Sunghee left the group due education issues and parental pressure, and members Goo Hara and Kang Jiyoung were added.

<i>Lupin</i> (EP) 2010 EP by Kara

Lupin is the third Korean extended play (EP) by South Korean girl group Kara, released on February 17, 2010, by DSP. The concept and artwork of the album is based on French writer Maurice Leblanc's fictional gentleman thief, Arsène Lupin. The EP sold over 64,000 copies in 2010, ranking as the 16th best-selling album of the year in South Korea.

Kang Ji-young, known mononymously as Jiyoung or under the stage name JY, is a South Korean singer and actress. She rose to fame as a member of the South Korean girl group Kara, joining the group in 2008. Dubbed as "Hallyu Queens", Kara are credited with being one of the first Korean artists to achieve mainstream success in both South Korea and Japan simultaneously. Kang left Kara in April 2014, but rejoined for the group's 15th anniversary commemorative album Move Again (2022), and subsequent concert tour (2024).

A special limited edition was available for pre-order starting August 25, 2011. The song was both written and produced by Han Jae-ho and Kim Seung-soo of Sweetune, who had worked on many of the group's previous records. In Japan, the song was made available to digital platforms on February 22, 2012, although no physical single was released for the song.

<i>Full Bloom</i> (Kara album) 2013 studio album by Kara

Full Bloom is the fourth Korean language studio album and the eighth overall studio album release by South Korean girl group Kara. It was released on September 2, 2013, with the song "Damaged Lady" used as the lead single. The song "Runaway" was released two weeks earlier, on August 21, as a preview for it. It is also the last Korean album to feature members Nicole Jung and Kang Ji-young who departed the group in 2014, though they would rejoin the group in 2022. The album was released one week later after the group's fourth Japanese studio album, Fantastic Girls.

The group's youngest member, Laun, left the group on August 23, 2019, for personal circumstances shortly before the group's fourth extended play Go Live.

Onewe is a South Korean alternative rock band composed of five members: Yonghoon, Harin, Kanghyun, Dongmyeong and Giuk. The members originally formed under the name M.A.S 0094 . They released their first single "Butterfly, Find a Flower" on August 13, 2015 under Modern Music. In April 2017, they moved to RBW and were renamed MAS. In June 2018, it was announced that the band would redebut under the new name Onewe. The band officially made its re-debut on May 13, 2019, with their first single album 1/4.

<i>Hard</i> (Shinee album) 2023 studio album by Shinee

Hard is the eighth Korean-language studio album by South Korean boy band Shinee. The album was released on June 26, 2023, through SM Entertainment. It was the group's first album since the youngest member, Taemin, completed his military service, and marked their 15th anniversary. It consists of ten songs of various genres, including the lead single, "Hard". The album was described as the start of a "new chapter" for the group, who sought to continually reinvent themselves and experiment with new genres. It was commercially successful, peaking at number two on South Korea's Circle Album Chart, and received largely positive reviews from music critics.
