The Uruguay women's national handball team is the national team of Uruguay. It takes part in international handball competitions.

Contents

History

The team participated in the 1997, [1] 2001, [2] 2003, 2005, 2011 and 2025 editions of the World Championship. At the 2011 edition they won their first ever World Cup match. [3] At the 2025 edition they won ther second. [3]

In 2003 and 2015 they won the bronze medal at the Pan American Games.
