Uttoxeter Rugby Football Club is an English rugby union club that plays in the Midlands Division.
Uttoxeter Rugby Football Club was formed in 1982. It was formed from JCB Rugby Football Club, which ceased to exist at the end of the 1981/82 season.
Uttoxeter began the 1982/83, with the majority of the former JCB players now playing at Oldfields Sports and Social Club, in Uttoxeter, where they remain to this day.
Initially the Club ran three senior teams. They played their matches at either Oldfields Hall Middle School or on a field belonging to Fred Allen at the rear of the Shell Mex depot, on the Dovefields Industrial Estate, but were invited to use Oldfields Sports and Social Clubs facilities post match.
Eventually they acquired a pitch at Oldfields Sports and Social club despite objections from Soccer and Cricket players who were already operating teams at Oldfields.
Recently the club has acquired the use of a second pitch adjacent to the Uttoxeter Leisure Centre. The Club now has a vibrant Youth Section, from tag to under 18 level.
The Club has won the Owen Cup five times, most recently in the 2007/8 competition. [1]
The club plays its home games at Oldfields Sports & Social Club. The club makes use of a second pitch which is known as The Lido which is adjacent to Uttoxeter Leisure Centre

Uttoxeter is a market town and civil parish in the East Staffordshire borough of Staffordshire, England. It is near to the Derbyshire county border.
Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club is an English rugby union club, based in Birmingham, that compete in the third tier of English rugby. They were historically the premier rugby club in Birmingham, reaching the final of the John Player Cup three times in the late 1970s and early 1980s. They originally played at the Reddings, but after attempting to keep up with the transition to professional rugby, the club ran into financial difficulties and were forced to sell their 125-year home to property developers. An unsuccessful five-year spell based at the University of Birmingham followed, during which time they were relegated to National Division Two. In 2005 the club moved to its new home at Billesley Common, and were promoted to National Division One in 2006. In 2009 they won their first cup in 27 years beating Leeds 23–18 in the final of the National Trophy at Twickenham. On the weekend starting 15 April 2016; defeat to Bristol, combined with results elsewhere during the same weekend, confirmed Moseley's relegation to National League 1 for the 2016–17 season.
Stourbridge RFC is a rugby union side based in Stourbridge, West Midlands and play in the fifth tier of the English rugby union league system; Regional 1 Midlands. They play their home games at Stourton Park, which was redeveloped in 2003 to provide a larger clubhouse and social area which can also be used for weddings and other functions. The ground is in the hamlet of Stourton set amongst the Staffordshire countryside, on the outskirts of the town of Stourbridge.

The Staffordshire Owen Cup is an annual rugby union knock-out club competition organised by the Staffordshire Rugby Union. It was first introduced during the 1980–81 season, with the inaugural winners being Willenhall. It is the third most important rugby union cup competition in Staffordshire, behind the Staffordshire Senior Cup and Staffordshire Intermediate Cup.
Midlands 4 West (North) is a level 9 English Rugby Union league and level 4 of the Midlands League, made up of teams from the northern part of the West Midlands region including Shropshire, Staffordshire, parts of Birmingham and the West Midlands and occasionally Cheshire, with home and away matches played throughout the season. Each year some of the clubs in this division also take part in the RFU Junior Vase - a level 9-12 national competition.

When this division began in 1992 it was known as Midlands West 2, until it was split into two regional divisions called Midlands 4 West (North) and Midlands 4 West (South) ahead of the 2000–01 season. Further restructuring of the Midlands leagues ahead of the 2009–10 season, led to the current name of Midlands 3 West (South).

Broadstreet Rugby Football Club is a rugby union club based in the city of Coventry, West Midlands, England. The club currently play in Regional 1 Midlands; at the fifth tier of the English rugby union system, following their relegation from National League 2 South at the end of the 2017–18 season. The 2014–15 season was the third time the club had played in the fourth tier of English rugby, but the first time it had maintained at that level. Furthermore, the club have also recently enjoyed success, by winning the Warwickshire Cup.

When this division began in 1992 it was known as Midlands West 1, until it was split into two regional divisions called Midlands 3 West (North) and Midlands 3 West (South) ahead of the 2000–01 season. Further restructuring of the Midlands leagues ahead of the 2009–10 season, lead to the current name of Midlands 2 West (South).
Regional 2 West Midlands is an English level 6 rugby union league for rugby clubs in the western region of the Midlands. It includes sides from Birmingham, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, the West Midlands, Worcestershire and occasionally Cheshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Oxfordshire. When this division began in 1987 it was known as Midlands 2 West, and has been restructured several times, most notably as a single division known as Midlands 2 between 1992 and 2000. It has been called Regional 2 West Midlands since 2022–23.

Ampthill Rugby Club is an English rugby union team based in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. The club runs six senior teams and the full range of junior sides. The first XV play in the RFU Championship, the second tier of the English rugby union system.
Uttoxeter Town F.C. is an English football club based in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. They currently play in the North West Counties League Division One South. The club is a FA Charter Standard Club affiliated to the Staffordshire Football Association.
Long Eaton RFC are a rugby union club based in Long Eaton, Derbyshire, UK. They play in Midlands 1 East following their promotion from Midlands 2 East (North) as champions at the end of the 2020–21 season with over 100 points. Prior to that they were 2017-2018 champions of RFU Midlands Division 3 East (North) and 2016-17 champions of RFU Midlands Division 4 East (North) having remained unbeaten for both seasons. They are also won 2016-17 RFU Junior Vase, narrowly missing out on the national final. The club are currently Director of Rugby is Wasps RFC defence coach Matt Everard, and head coach is former Nottingham RFC players Murray McConnell
The Staffordshire Rugby Union is the governing body for the sport of rugby union in the county of Staffordshire in England. The union is the constituent body of the Rugby Football Union (RFU) for Staffordshire, and administers and organises rugby union clubs and competitions in the county. It also administers the Staffordshire county rugby representative teams.
Stoke-on-Trent Rugby Union Football Club is a rugby union club located to the east of Barlaston near Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. The first XV currently play in Regional 1 Midlands, a fifth tier league in the English rugby union system.
Staffordshire 1 was a tier 9 English Rugby Union league with teams from Staffordshire taking part. Promoted teams moved up to Midlands 5 West (North) and relegated teams dropped to Staffordshire 2 until that division was cancelled at the end of the 2003–04 season. Staffordshire 1 was itself cancelled one year later at the end of the 2004–05 campaign, with the majority of teams transferred into the newly introduced Midlands 6 West (North).
Staffordshire 2 was a tier 10 English Rugby Union league with teams from Staffordshire taking part. Promoted teams moved up to Staffordshire 1 and there was no relegation. Staffordshire 2 was cancelled at the end of the 2003–04 season and all teams transferred into Staffordshire 1.
