Armand van Helden is an American DJ, record producer, remixer and songwriter from Boston. He is considered one of house music's most revered figures, with a career spanning three decades.
"Cruel Summer" is a song by English girl group Bananarama. It was written by Bananarama and Steve Jolley, Tony Swain, and produced by Jolley and Swain. Released in 1983, it was initially a stand-alone single but was subsequently included on their self-titled second album a year later. The song reached number eight on the UK Singles Chart in 1983 and the group performed it live on the BBC's Top of the Pops that summer, and after its inclusion in the 1984 film The Karate Kid, it reached number nine on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Marc Kinchen, known by his initials MK, is an American DJ, record producer and remixer. He hit number-one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1993 and 1994 with the songs "Always" and "Love Changes". Lead vocals on both of those tracks were performed by Alana Simon. The combo also recorded the underground house music classic anthem "Burning". "Always" peaked at number 69 on the UK Singles Chart in February 1995. MK also hit the dance chart with "4 You", using the pseudonym 4th Measure Men.
"I Feel Love" is a song by the American singer Donna Summer. No. 10, Upping St. is the second studio album by the English band Big Audio Dynamite, led by Mick Jones, the former lead guitarist and co-lead vocalist of the Clash. The album's title is a pun on 10 Downing Street, the headquarters of the Government of the United Kingdom. The album reunited Jones for one album with former Clash bandmate Joe Strummer, who was a co-producer of the album and co-writer of 5 of its 9 songs.

"HIStory" is a 1995 song by American singer-songwriter Michael Jackson. It was composed by Jackson, James Harris III and Terry Lewis, and was included on his album HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I. Although the original version of "HIStory" was not released as a single, it was later remixed in 1997 as part of Jackson's remix album project Blood on the Dance Floor: HIStory in the Mix. These remixes would be released as part of "HIStory/Ghosts", a double A-side single with the newly recorded song "Ghosts" as the second single from that album.
"Boogie 2nite" is a song by American singer Tweet from her debut studio album, Southern Hummingbird (2002). Tweet co-wrote the song with its producers, Nisan Stewart and John "Jubu" Smith. It was released on October 28, 2002, as the album's third and final single. The single's B-side, "Smoking Cigarettes", was also released as a promotional CD single. A music video for "Boogie 2nite" and "Smoking Cigarettes" was directed by Little X and filmed in Toronto over the weekend of September 28–29, 2002, but it was ultimately cancelled. "Boogie 2nite" was included on the soundtrack to the 2002 action thriller film The Transporter.
"The Creeps" is a song written, performed and produced by Danish singer Camille Jones, released in 2005 and remixed in 2007 by Fedde Le Grand. The song was the first single of Camille's 2004 album Surrender. Dutch DJ-producer Fedde Le Grand signed the song to his own burgeoning Flamingo Recordings imprint and produced a house remix. In early 2007, the remix had been picked up by radio stations in the UK and all over Europe before it was released on Ministry of Sound on 5 March 2007 in the UK and Ireland. The remix became a hit on the charts and the clubs as well. In the UK, "The Creeps" reached #7 on the Singles Chart and #1 on the Dance Chart. On 25 July 2008, "The Creeps" was released as a physical and download single in Germany through Kontor Records Hamburg. The remix from 2007 was remastered slightly, with new instruments on the chorus, which resemble the trumpets on Fedde Le Grand's remix of "Let Me Think About It" by Ida Corr.

Big Audio Dynamite are a British musical group formed in 1984 by the ex-guitarist and singer of the Clash, Mick Jones. The group is noted for its effective mixture of varied musical styles, incorporating elements of punk rock, dance music, hip hop, reggae, and funk. BAD's one constant throughout frequent shifts in membership and musical direction is the vocals provided by Mick Jones. After releasing a number of well-received albums and touring extensively throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Big Audio Dynamite disbanded in 1997. In 2011, the band embarked on a reunion tour.

Written by Mick Jones and Don Letts about a fictitious medicine show, and following the success of "E=MC2", "Medicine Show" was released as the third and final single from the album, peaking at No. 29 on the UK Singles Chart, and No. 42 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart. It was their final top 40 single in the UK with the original line-up.
