Vaibhavi Shandilya (born 27 May 1993 [1] ) is an Indian actress who works in Tamil, Kannada and Marathi-language films. After making her debut in the Marathi film Janiva (2015), she has been in films including Ekk Albela (2015), Sakka Podu Podu Raja (2017), Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu (2018), Cap maari (2019) and Gaalipata 2 (2022).
Vaibhavi made her acting debut in the Marathi film Janiva (2015), a tale on social justice, which was noted for marking the debut of actor Mahesh Manjrekar's son, Sathya. [2] Vaibhavi then featured amongst an ensemble cast including Vidya Balan in Bhagwan Dada's biopic, Ekk Albela where she portrayed a Muslim girl called Shaheen. [3] [4]
In 2016, Vaibhavi appeared in an Egyptian Arabic film Gahem Fe El Hend as a dancer in a special song called "Tak Dhinna". It was choreographed by famous Indian dance choreographer Vishnu Deva. Vaibhavi signed on to appear in two Tamil language films opposite Santhanam — Server Sundaram and Sakka Podu Podu Raja , where the latter released in 2017 and the former to be released in 2018. [5] [6] Vaibhavi signed her third Tamil film opposite Gautham Karthik in Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu in 2018. she debuted kannada industry with Raj Vishnu and acted in super hit movie Gaalipata 2 opposite Ganesh.

Santhanam is an Indian actor and producer who mainly works in Tamil cinema. Beginning his career as a comedian on television, he rose to fame through his performances in STAR Vijay's Lollu Sabha enacting the lead role in spoofs of Tamil films. He was subsequently given a chance by actor Silambarasan to feature in a supporting role in Manmadhan (2004) and then was signed on to appear in a host of films, notably winning good reviews for his work in Sachien (2005) and Polladhavan (2007). He appeared in a one-off leading role in Shankar's production Arai En 305-il Kadavul (2008) and became a staple feature as a comedian in successful Tamil films during the period, with his market popularity helping stuck films find distributors.

The film features Santhanam, Vaibhavi Shandilya and Vivek in the leading roles. Featuring cinematography by Abinandhan Ramanujam and edited by Anthony, the film began production in October 2016. This film is a remake of the 2014 Telugu movie Loukyam, starring Gopichand, Rakul Preet Singh, Sampath Raj, Mukesh Rishi and Brahmanandam.
