Valentin Bayer (born 8 December 1999) [1] is an Austrian swimmer. He represented Austria at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships in Gwangju, South Korea. [1] He competed in the men's 100 metre breaststroke and men's 200 metre breaststroke events.

In 2017, he won the silver medal in the boys' 200 m breaststroke at the European Junior Swimming Championships held in Netanya, Israel. [2]

In 2020, he set a new Austrian record in the men's 100 metre breaststroke at the inaugural 4 Nations Meet held in Budapest, Hungary. [3]

Bayer competed in the men's 4 × 100 metre medley relay event at the 2024 Summer Olympics held in Paris, France.

Sydney Pickrem is a Canadian competitive swimmer who competed for Texas A&M University in College Station. A three-time Olympian, she placed sixth in the 200m individual medley at the 2016 Summer Olympics and won a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics as part of the Canadian 4×100 metre medley relay team. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, she participated in the women’s 200-meter individual medley and the 200-meter breaststroke, but finished out of medal contention. Accomplished in international competition, she is a seven-time World Aquatics Championships medallist.

Anton Mikhailovich Chupkov is a retired Russian competitive swimmer. He is the European record holder in the long course 200 metre breaststroke and the Russian record holder in the long course 100 metre breaststroke. He formerly held the world record in the long course 200 metre breaststroke. At the 2015 European Games he won four gold medals in individual and relay events. He won the bronze medal in the 200 metre breaststroke at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He won the gold medal in the 200 metre breaststroke at the 2017 and 2019 World Aquatics Championships.

Matthew Wilson is an Australian swimmer. He competed in the men's 50 metre breaststroke and 200 metre breaststroke events at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships and at the 100 & 200 metre breastroke at the 2019 World Aquatic Championships, winning a silver medal in the 200 m breaststroke, as well as medley relay medals on both occasions. James Wilby is a British competitive swimmer who specialises in the breaststroke. Wilby is the 2018 Commonwealth Games champion in 200 metre breaststroke, the 2022 Commonwealth Games champion in 100 metre breaststroke, and the 2022 European champion in 200 metre breaststroke. He formed part of the Great Britain team that won World Championship gold in the men's 4 x 100 metre medley relay in 2019, and the England team that won the Commonwealth Games Men's 4 x 100 metre medley relay in 2014 and 2022.

In February 2024, Gorbenko won a silver medal at the Doha World Championships in the women's 400 meters individual medley. Gorbenko represented Israel at the 2024 Summer Olympics in swimming in the 100m backstroke, 200m backstroke, 100m breaststroke, 200m individual medley, 400m individual medley, 4x200m freestyle relay, and mixed 4x100m medley relay.

Qin Haiyang is a Chinese swimmer who specializes in the breaststroke and individual medley. He holds the world record in the 200m breaststroke, which he set at the 2023 World Aquatics Championships. At the same competition, Qin became the first swimmer in history to win all three breaststroke events at a single edition of the championships. Qin was also the former world junior record holder in the 200m breaststroke and 200m individual medley. Ron Polonsky is an Israeli Olympic swimmer. He also competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and won the silver medal in the 2024 NCAA Division I Championships in the 100 Y Breast. Polonsky represented Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the 200 metre individual medley and the Mixed 4×100 metre medley relay.

Vladislav Gerasimenko is a Russian competitive swimmer. He is a world junior record holder in the long course 4×100 metre medley relay, swimming a 59.53 for the breaststroke portion of the relay. He is a four-time medalist at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics and a five-time medalist at the World Junior Swimming Championships, spanning breaststroke and freestyle disciplines. He competed at the 2021 European Short Course Swimming Championships, placing sixteenth in the preliminaries of the 50 metre breaststroke.

Luka Mladenovic is an Austrian competitive swimmer. At the 2022 World Junior Championships, he won the gold medal and world junior title in the 100-metre breaststroke, the silver medal in the 200-metre breaststroke, and the bronze medal in the 50-metre breaststroke. He is a 2022 European Junior Championships silver medalist in the 200-metre breaststroke.
