As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,136 and an area of 14.9 square kilometres (5.8 sq mi). [1]

Cossato is a municipality in the province of Biella, Italy, in the northwest part of Piedmont, 11.6 kilometres (7.2 mi) east of Biella.
