Vampino, born Elvis Kirya, is a Ugandan dance hall musician [1] [2] and actor debuting his acting career in Nana Kagga's 2012 film, The life. [3] He was one half of the duo "Benon and Vamposs." [4] He is a brother to musician Maurice Kirya. [5] He is signed to Swangz Avenue. [6]
Vampino was born in 1980. He attended Shimoni Primary school, Kabojja and Namasagali secondary before joining Aptech where he attained a diploma in Computer Networking and Maintenance. [7]
Vampino first made his name under a music duo Benon and Vamposs. The duo started doing music in 2000. The duo had successful songs like "Mumulete", "I know", "Nsazewo", and "My lady". [8] The video for their song "Mumuleete" made it to the top ten on MTV chart in UK. [9] In 2009, Vampino opted for a solo career as Benon concentrated on music production. He has had a successful solo career with songs like "Kwekunyakunya" ft Keko (rapper), Juliana Kanyomozi and Cinderella Sanyu and "Tell it" with Radio and Weasle. He has also collaborated with R&B singer Nick Nola on songs like "Nobody Like Me" and "Setula". [10]
Kenneth Clark Loggins is an American musician, singer and songwriter. William Richard Frisell is an American guitarist, composer and arranger. Moses Radio provided smooth RnB vocals while Weasel's contribution is a fusion of reggae, ragga and dancehall vibes. Because of their prominence, Moses Radio and Weasel have formed their own duo known as Radio and Weasel. The Lead singer Moses and Vocalist Radio died on 1 February 2018 from brain injuries after an assault by a bouncer at a club in Entebbe. Radio's attacker threw him down about 3 metres (9.8 ft) onto a concrete pavement which resulted in massive intracranial hemorrhage.

As a record label, Swangz Avenue is more lined with music production projects, artist management, digital distribution, music publishing and events management. Swangz Avenue is the brainchild of a Ugandan musician Benon Mugumya, who started this music production back in 2008. The company has been very influential in the Ugandan music sector as it has recorded and released some of the best songs with a variety of local and global musicians. Undercover Brothers Ug also simply known as Undercover Brothers are a Ugandan music duo composed of guitarist and vocalist Jay K Mulungi and vocalist Timothy Kirya, whose music career sparked off when they won the auditions and represented Uganda in the sixth season of East Africa's biggest singing competition Tusker Project Fame. The duo released their first album titled At Dawn in December 2014. In December 2016, their song Nsikatila was nominated in the Best R&B Song category at HiPipo Music Awards (#HMA) 2017.

Jackie Akello is a Uganda singer/songwriter and entrepreneur with a coffee brand Village Belle which she launched in 2017. She sings in Acholi, Luganda, Swahili, and English. She is known for her hit love ballad "Amari", the gospel hit "Samanya" with Levixone, and the war-themed pop hit "Apwoyo". Akello is an Acholi from northern Uganda and most of her songs like "Apwoyo" talk about the suffering of the Acholi both during and after the Lord's Resistance Army war that left Acholis out of their homes for a long time.
