Vanessa Struhler (born 4 November 1985 in Oberhausen, North Rhine-Westphalia), better known as Vanessa S., is a German singer and songwriter who came to fame as a finalist of the first season of the television show Deutschland sucht den SuperStar , the German version of Pop Idol .
Struhler was born in Oberhausen, (Germany) to a Filipina mother, Lorna Abracosa, and a German father, Klaus Struhler[ citation needed ]. She has a younger brother, Christian.
In 2002, Struhler participated in the first season of Deutschland sucht den SuperStar . She was only 17 at the time and the youngest contestant. Though she received a wildcard and became the last candidate to join the ten finalists, Struhler was able to boost her popularity constantly with performances of Christina Milian's "When You Look at Me", Oleta Adams' "Get Here" or Vanessa L. Williams' "Save The Best For Last". However, in the end she was voted out on 8 February 2003 and thus finished in fourth place in the competition. As of 2007, she holds the record for the most times in the bottom three on the series.
After the show, Struhler teamed up with Hip-Hop producer DJ Tomekk to create her debut album. The pre-release duet "Ride or Die (I Need You)", a collaboration with German rapper Trooper Da Don, became a major hit, eventually peaking at No. 4 on the German singles chart. In summer of 2003, Struhler (now performing under her pseudonym Vanessa S.) released her R&B influenced first album Ride With Me. The album managed to peak at No. 30 on the albums chart but failed to earn critical and commercial success, selling 30,000 copies only. Nevertheless, Struhler's records company decided to release three further singles, including the double A-Single "Ey Ey Ey/Back To Life", which became another Top 20 hit.
Vanessa Struhler's second album Independence was released in 2004. The partly self-written album failed to chart on the German 100, but spawned three singles with "Blah, Blah, Blah" featuring David Jassy, "Don't Say (You're Sorry)" and "Bonafide".
Struhler was focusing on Eastern European and Asian markets, and she achieved a Promo Tour in China and gave a concert in Poland.

Gracia Arabella Baur is a German singer and songwriter. She rose to fame as a finalist on the debut season of the television series Deutschland sucht den Superstar, the German Idol series adaptation, placing fifth.
Elisabeth Maria Erl is a German singer-songwriter. She came to fame as the winner of the second season of the television show Deutschland sucht den Superstar, the German Idol series adaptation. With DSDS, Erl appeared on the collaborative top ten single "Believe in Miracles", while her coronation song and debut single "This Is My Life" peaked at number three on the German Singles Chart and reached the top ten in Austria. Erl's pop rock-influenced debut studio album, Shout It Out (2003), reached the top forty of the German Albums Chart but was significantly less successful than previous DSDS releases.
Juliette Schoppmann is a German singer, songwriter and vocal coach who came to fame as the runner-up of the debut season of the television series Deutschland sucht den Superstar, the German Idol series adaptation.

Attention! is the third studio album by German singer Alexander Klaws. It was released by Sony BMG on Hansa Records on 10 March 2006 in German-speaking Europe. Recorded after a short-living hiatus, it marked a departure from Klaws' previous work with Deutschland sucht den Superstar judge and musical mentor Dieter Bohlen, who gained no credit on the record. Instead, the album features a wider range of producers, including Terri Bjerre, David Stenmarck, Sandi Strmljan, Thorsten Brötzmann, Ivo Moring, and Mirko von Schlieffen.

English singer Teddy Sinclair has released two studio albums, one extended play (EP), and ten singles as an artist, as well as eight as a featured artist. She began her musical career by releasing a standalone single, entitled "Don't Play Nice", under the alias of Verbalicious, with label All Around the World. Although the song reached number eleven in the United Kingdom, the label went bankrupt shortly after the song's release. In 2008, Sinclair collaborated with French recording artist M. Pokora in the song "They Talk Shit About Me", as Verse. Sinclair later changed her stage name to Natalia Cappuccini and released the extended play Wommanequin independently.

An instant success, it debuted atop the single charts in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland and sold more than 100,000 copies throughout its chart run.
Aneta Sablik is a Polish pop singer. She gained popularity in Europe after winning the eleventh season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar which was broadcast on RTL. Sablik was the first competitor to receive the highest number of points at every live show.
German recording artist Alexander Klaws has released six studio albums and fourteen singles. In 2003, he won the inaugural season of the television competition Deutschland sucht den Superstar and was immediately signed to a recording deal with Sony BMG. He made his solo chart debut in March 2003 with the "Take Me Tonight", which topped the German and Swiss singles chart and became the second biggest-selling single of the year in Germany. His debut album, Take Your Chance, was released in April 2003 and debuted atop the German albums chart. It was certified in three countries, including a gold certification by the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI). Its second single, "Stay with Me" entered the top ten in Germany. It was released by BMG on October 13, 2003, in German-speaking Europe, following her participation in the debut season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar, where she had finished fifth. Taking her work further into the hard rock and pop rock genres, Gracia worked with a small team of collaborators on the album, including duos Christian Hamm and Alain Bertoni as well as Grant Michael B. and Pomez di Lorenzo, among others. Its release was preceded by the singles "I Don’t Think So!" and "I Believe in Miracles", a top ten and a top 20 entry on the German Singles Chart, respectively.
