Espoo is the second largest city and municipality in Finland. It is part of the Finnish Capital Region, along with the cities of Helsinki, Vantaa, and Kauniainen. Most of its population lives in the inner urban core of the Helsinki metropolitan area. Espoo shares its eastern border with Helsinki and Vantaa, while enclosing Kauniainen. Other bordering municipalities of Espoo are Nurmijärvi and Vihti in the north, and Kirkkonummi in the west. The city is located on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, in the region of Uusimaa, and has a population of 291,439.
Tapiola is a district of the municipality of Espoo on the south coast of Finland, and is one of the major urban centres of Espoo. It is located in the western part of Greater Helsinki. The name Tapiola is derived from Tapio, who is the forest god of Finnish mythology, especially as expressed in the Kalevala.
Pakankylä is a hamlet in the city of Espoo, Finland. The village lies near the Nuuksio National Park and just north of Lake Bodom, the largest lake in Espoo. The village has about 15 houses.

Olari (Finnish) or Olars (Swedish) is a district of the city of Espoo, Finland. Olari is located about 15 kilometres west of central Helsinki, north of the Länsiväylä highway and Matinkylä. The district has a population of about 15,000. The population consist of mostly middle-class families. The district is famous for its contribution to the Finnish rap culture. One of the most notable landmarks of the district is Olari Church and Parish Centre, designed by architects Simo and Käpy Paavilainen, and completed in 1981.

Saunalahti (Finnish) or Bastvik (Swedish) is one of the newest apartment building districts in Espoo, Finland, located by the Kummelivuori hill between Kivenlahti and Kurttila, west of the Kauklahdenväylä road, on the coast of the Espoonlahti bay. The bay at Saunalahti is named Bastvikfjärden. The area also contains original detached house residence from old Saunalahti and agriculture. Saunalahti is separated from Kivenlahti by the Länsiväylä highway, continuing to Kirkkonummi as Jorvaksentie.

The Old Church of Helsinki, designed by Carl Ludvig Engel and completed in 1826, is an Evangelical Lutheran church in Helsinki. The oldest existing church in central Helsinki, the church was originally planned as a temporary building as the Ulrika Eleonora Church constructed in 1727 had become too small for the congregation and the new church, Helsinki Cathedral, would not be completed until 1852. However, the city's rapid population growth from the early 19th century onwards ensured that the church would remain needed, and also necessitated the construction of many other churches.
Weekend Festival is a music festival taking place in Helsinki, previously also in Stockholm and Pärnu. The festival was organised for the first time in Luukki, Espoo, Finland on the 17 and 18 of August 2012. In 2013 the festival location was changed to its old location at Kyläsaari/Kalasatama in Helsinki. In 2018 the festival moved to Hietaniemi also in Helsinki. Weekend Festival artist line up has mainly consisted of EDM artists but there have also been artists from other music genres present. The festival has been attended by more than 40,000 people on both years. Every year the festival has a different theme which reflects mainly in the visual side of the festival. In 2013 the festival theme was Space and Future while for 2014 the organisers decided to go with Electro Disco theme. The festival lineup has featured various internationally acclaimed artists including Skrillex, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix etc. and Finland's own popular artists. Weekend Festival has sold out in advance on both years. In 2013 Weekend Festival was voted as the best summer festival by the listeners of Finnish radio station YleX. In 2015, Weekend Festival expanded to Pärnu, Estonia and in 2016 to Sweden.
