Varvasaina (Greek : Βαρβάσαινα) is a village and a community in the eastern part of the municipality of Pyrgos, Elis, Greece. The community consists of the villages Varvasaina and Kato Varvasaina. It is situated in a valley between low hills, 3 km southeast of Koliri, 3 km northwest of Salmoni, 5 km north of Epitalio and 5 km east of Pyrgos town centre. The Greek National Road 74 (Pyrgos - Olympia - Tripoli) passes south of the village. The railway from Pyrgos to Kalamata and Olympia passes through Kato Varvasaina.

Skillounta is a former municipality in Elis, West Greece, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Andritsaina-Krestena, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 194.409 km2. It is named after the ancient town Scillus, which was in the area. Its seat of administration was in the town Krestena. The territory of the municipal unit Skillounta stretches from the plains on the Ionian Sea coast to the forested mountains of southeastern Elis. The river Alfeios forms its northern border. Krestena is 6 km south of Olympia, 12 km north of Zacharo and 18 km southeast of Pyrgos. The Greek National Road 9/E55 passes through Kallikomo in the western part of Skillounta, and the Greek National Road 76 to Andritsaina and Megalopoli runs west to east through Krestena and Graikas.

Areti is a community in the municipal unit of Lechaina, Elis, Greece. It is situated in a flat, rural area, south of the Kotychi lagoon. It is 1 km west of Kourtesi and 5 km northeast of Lechaina. The Greek National Road 9/E55 and the railway Patras - Pyrgos pass south of the village. The site of ancient Myrsinus is located near Areti.

Nea Manolada is a community in the municipal unit of Vouprasia, Elis, southwestern Greece. It is located in a vast, rural plain, It is 3 km southwest of Neo Vouprasio, 3 km northeast of Varda and 37 km southwest of Patras. The Greek National Road 9 passes east of the village, and the railway Patras - Pyrgos runs through the village. In 2001, a train derailment occurred in Nea Manolada injuring two passengers as a train was heading from Athens to Kyparissia.

It is situated 5 km from the Ionian Sea, 3 km west of Krestena, 5 km north of Kato Samiko and 16 km southeast of Pyrgos. The GR-9/E55 runs through the village. The junction with the Greek National Road 76 to Krestena and Megalopoli is 1 km east of the village. The community consists of the villages Kallikomo, Krounoi and Ladiko.

Douneika is a village and a community in the southern part of the municipal unit of Amaliada in Elis, Greece. It is situated near the Ionian Sea coast, 3 km south of Kardamas, 4 km northwest of Myrtia, 4 km west of Alpochori and 6 km south of Amaliada. The Greek National Road 9/E55 passes northeast of the village. The community consists of the villages Douneika, Agia Marina, Danika and Kato Kertezeika.

Aspra Spitia is a village in the municipality Olympia, eastern Elis, Greece. It is situated between the rivers Alfeios and Erymanthos, 4 km northwest of their confluence. It is 2 km west of Tripotamia (Arcadia), 4 km southeast of Vasilaki, 14 km east of Olympia and 30 km east of Pyrgos. Near the village, archeologists have excavated remains of housing from the Neolithic period. The village was affected by the 2007 Greek forest fires.

Koliri, is a village and a community in the municipality of Pyrgos, Elis, Greece. It is situated on a hillside, 3 km northeast of Pyrgos town centre and 3 km northwest of Varvasaina. The Greek National Road 74 passes south of the village. The community includes the village Kolireikes Paragkes. It has two churches: the Church of Saint Nicholas and the Church of the Saints Theodore. Its elevation is 90 m. Koliri suffered damage from the fires of August 2007. Koliri has a football team called Anatoli, which plays in the local championships.

Kato Samiko is a village and a community in the municipal unit of Skillounta, Elis, Greece. It is situated 2 km from the Ionian Sea, 3 km southeast of Samiko, 6 km southwest of Krestena, 8 km northwest of Zacharo and 20 km southeast of Pyrgos. The community includes the small villages Kleidi and Fragkokklisia. The Greek National Road 9 and the railway from Pyrgos to Kalamata run through the village. Kato Samiko suffered damage from the 2007 Greek forest fires. The ruins of ancient Samicum lie within the borders of the municipal unit.

Skourochori is a village and a community in the municipality of Pyrgos, Elis, Greece. The community includes the village Kato Kavouri. It is situated near the Ionian Sea, at the foot of a low hill. It is 3 km south of Myrtia, 3 km east of Leventochori, 5 km northeast of Katakolo and 8 km west of Pyrgos town centre.

Alpochori, is a village and a community in the municipal unit of Iardanos, Elis, Greece. Alpochori is situated on a low hill, 3 km west of Vounargo, 9 km northwest of Pyrgos and 7 km southeast of Amaliada. The Greek National Road 9 passes west of the village.

Salmoni is a village and a community in the municipality of Pyrgos, Elis, Greece. The community includes the village Alfeios. It is situated in low hills on the right bank of the river Alfeios, at 70 m elevation. It is 2 km southwest of Strefi, 3 km southeast of Varvasaina and 8 km east of Pyrgos. The Greek National Road 74 passes north of the village. A previously independent community, Salmoni is part of Pyrgos since 1997. The current Greek Orthodox metropolitan of Thessaloniki, Anthimos, was born in Salmoni in 1934. The village Alfeios, 3 km west of Salmoni, has two churches, Metamorfoseos tou Sotiros and Saint Raphael.
