Vasanthi is a 2021 Indian Malayalam-language drama film written, edited and directed by Rahman brothers, Shinos & Sajas for producer, actor Siju Wilson. The film won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Film in 2020 at Kerala State Film Awards, before its release. It is a journey that traverses through stage plays, story telling and a host of male domains in Vasanthi's life. [8] [9]

Story starts in a seashore when vasanthi looking towards dawn then she walks into a open stage where she begins to tell her story besides the sofa a person is lying she starts her story by calling a person from crowd called Balu then stats the story from childhood her mother was a prostitute so there is no men in her life as father one day vasanthi become mature her mother send her to some relatives but in the bus she cries and the first men in her life raman. She ask him that if she could go with him she then go with raman and lived her life there it was a great when it started but later raman try to overcare for her and torcher her then chandu next man came into her life raman did not like that then raman drinks alcohol and tries to rape vasanthi she kicked him raman goes into unconscious so she tied his hand and leg and run away with chandu but after reaching his home she realised that he was a thief chandu's friend suku has an eye on vasanthi then one day vasanthi along with chandu and suku tries to steal a car then people caught chandu and hand over to police, suku and vasanthi escaped from police station and tries to live together, vasanthi demands suku to not to steal but find a job and give her gold chain that chandu gifted ,one day chandu finds out that they cheated him ,after days of unemployment and hunger leads suku to sell vasanthi to a rich person,vasanthi made deal with the new men in her life and left suku after that she officially become the prostitute high class customers are visiting her including judges and doctor, musician etc Then one day the judge came to vasanthi house had drinks accidentally he died ,in between scene vasanthi got a call from judges wife saying that It would be a shame that people know that he died in a prostitutes house so they will take the body ,then Balu asks for more story so vasanthi ask him to leave for 10 mins so he can take his wife back home both drunk alcohol then she lied on the couch ,next time balus father in law came to the stage ask for more story ,then Balu came there and told that he hit her wife so he could come ,by hearing that father in law killed balu ,, then she announce that the drama came to an end and she walked into a traveller looks like a drama company vehicle film ends
