Velvet Chains is an American hard rock band based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The band was formed in 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada by Nils Goldschmidt. He recruited the original lineup through an ad he posted on Craigslist. [1] [2] Initially the band would play covers at local bars and clubs, however in 2020 Nils decided to transition into an original band.
The band launched its first album "Icarus" on 24 September 2021. It was released with 10 songs, including two singles "Tattooed" and "Strangelove". It features guest appearances by guitarist Richard Fortus from Guns N' Roses, and bassist Jeff Rouse and guitarist Mike Squires, both from Duff McKagan's Loaded. This album was later taken down by the band in 2023; however 3 songs "Tattooed", "Pass The Disease" & "Wasted" were re-recorded with Ro Viper on vocals and re-uploaded.
The first single "Tattooed" features special guest appearance of Guns N' Roses guitarist Richard Fortus and it was released in July 2021. [3]
The band launched its second EP "Morbid Dreams" on 21 October 2022. It was released with 6 songs, including three singles "Last Drop", [4] "Back On The Train" [5] and "Can't Win". [6]
In 2024, the band underwent a transition in their lineup, now featuring Ro Viper on vocals, Lahi Cassiano on lead guitar and backing vocals, Jason Hope on drums, Von Boldt on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, and Nils Goldschmidt on bass who is also the only original founding member. In 2023 the band released 3 new singles: "I Am The Ocean" [7] produced by Kellen McGregor; "Stuck Against The Wall" [8] produced by Erik Ron; and "Eyes Closed" [9] produced by The Heavy and mixed by Joshua Wilbur.
The band participated in Rock Fest 2022 which was held July 13–16 in Cadott, Wisconsin, in Blue Ridge Rock Festival 2022 which was held September 8–11 in Alton, Virginia and in Summer Breeze Open Air Brasil Festival 2023 which was held April 26–28 in São Paulo, Brazil. [10] [11] [12]
Velvet Chains has also opened for several mainstream acts including Stone Temple Pilots, The Winery Dogs, [13] Saint Asonia, [14] L.A. Guns and Last in Line, among others.
In early 2024 the band went on tour to Brazil with Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, billed as their opening act for their "The River is Rising" tour. The shows were held in Belo Horizonte on January 29, in São Paulo on January 31, in Rio de Janeiro on February 1 and in Porto Alegre on February 4. [15]
It was released on 21 October 2022 with 6 songs, including three singles "Last Drop", "Back On The Train" and "Can't Win".

Primal Scream are a Scottish rock band originally formed in 1982 in Glasgow by Bobby Gillespie (vocals) and Jim Beattie (guitar). The band's current lineup consists of Gillespie, Andrew Innes (guitar), Simone Butler (bass), and Darrin Mooney (drums). Barrie Cadogan has toured and recorded with the band since 2006 as a replacement after the departure of guitarist Robert "Throb" Young.
The Pretenders are a British-American rock band formed in March 1978. The original band consisted of founder and main songwriter Chrissie Hynde, James Honeyman-Scott, Pete Farndon and Martin Chambers. Heart is an American/Canadian rock band formed in 1973 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The band evolved from previous projects led by founding members Roger Fisher (guitar) and Steve Fossen, including The Army (1967–1969), Hocus Pocus (1969–1970), and White Heart (1970–1973). By 1975, original members Fisher, Fossen, and Ann Wilson, along with Nancy Wilson, Michael Derosier (drums), and Howard Leese formed the lineup for the band's initial mid- to late-1970s success period. These core members were included in the band's 2013 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Adam Wade Gontier is a Canadian singer and musician. He is the lead singer, rhythm guitarist and main songwriter for Saint Asonia, but is best known as the former lead singer, rhythm guitarist, and founding member of the Canadian rock band Three Days Grace. Gontier left Three Days Grace on January 9, 2013. In addition to his work with Three Days Grace and Saint Asonia, he has been involved in collaborations with other bands including Art of Dying, Apocalyptica, Breaking Benjamin, Skillet and Thousand Foot Krutch.
Buckcherry is an American hard rock band from Anaheim, California, formed in 1995. The band released two albums, Buckcherry (1999) and Time Bomb (2001), before dissolving in 2002. Buckcherry's first album Buckcherry was DreamWorks' first album to go gold. In 2005, lead vocalist Josh Todd and lead guitarist Keith Nelson reformed Buckcherry with a new lineup and released a new album in 2006, 15. It contained Buckcherry's biggest crossover hits to date, "Crazy Bitch", and their first Billboard Hot 100 top ten hit, "Sorry". The band continued to record albums, releasing five between 2008 and 2019: Black Butterfly in 2008, All Night Long in 2010, Confessions in 2013, Rock 'n' Roll in 2015, and Warpaint in 2019. Rock Fest is an annual four-day rock festival held near the town of Cadott, Wisconsin. Rock Fest is usually held on the third weekend (Wednesday-Saturday) of July.
Hirax is an American thrash metal band from Cypress, California. Starting in 1984 under the leadership of vocalist Katon W. De Pena, the band played in Los Angeles and San Francisco with several of their thrash metal peers such as Metallica, Exodus, and Slayer. The band was an early example of thrash metal, speed metal and crossover thrash, yet inspired by cross-genre influences including blues vocalist Sam Cooke, who De Pena once cited as "the greatest vocalist [De Pena] has ever heard."

Frank Ferrer is an American musician. He is best known as the drummer for hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he has played, toured, and recorded since 2006. He is the longest tenured drummer in the band's history. Ferrer was also a member of The Psychedelic Furs, Love Spit Love as well as The Beautiful. He has recorded and worked with several high profile musicians including Robi "Draco" Rosa, Tool, Gordon Gano, PJ Harvey, Tommy Stinson, Nena, Frank Black of The Pixies, Neil Young, Perry Farrell and Cheetah Chrome of The Dead Boys.
"Street of Dreams" is a song by the American rock band Guns N' Roses, featured on their 2008 album Chinese Democracy. The song is the third promotional song sent to radio stations, but was not released as a commercial single eligible for international Singles charts. From 2001 to 2008, the song was called "The Blues", but was changed to "Street of Dreams" for the album's release.
Up Close and Personal Tour was a 2012 North American and European concert tour by hard rock band Guns N' Roses.
Appetite for Democracy was a series of concerts by hard rock band Guns N' Roses celebrating 25 years of Appetite for Destruction, and four years for their studio album Chinese Democracy. It started with a 12-night residency in Las Vegas. Their previous tour, Up Close and Personal, had ended in Spain on July 22, 2012. Former bassist Duff McKagan filled in for Tommy Stinson for several shows, Stinson had previous commitments to The Replacements. The tour ended with another residency in Vegas, titled "No Trickery! An Evening of Destruction!". The title of the show "No Trickery" was a play on jokes Axl Rose had made about Red Hot Chili Peppers being forced to pantomime their performance at the Super Bowl XLVIII halftime show.
Saint Asonia is a Canadian-American rock supergroup consisting of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Adam Gontier, lead guitarist Mike Mushok, bassist and backing vocalist Cale Gontier, and drummer Cody Watkins. In 2017, the band's original drummer, Rich Beddoe, left the band and was replaced by Mushok's Staind bandmate Sal Giancarelli, and one year later bassist and backing vocalist Corey Lowery left the band to join Seether and his place was taken by Gontier's cousin Cale Gontier. The band formed in Toronto, Canada in 2015 after Gontier's departure from Three Days Grace in 2013. Their second studio album, titled Flawed Design, was released on October 25, 2019. On January 26, 2020, Art of Dying drummer Cody Watkins became the new drummer for Saint Asonia replacing Sal Giancarelli.
The Not in This Lifetime... Tour was a concert tour by hard rock band Guns N' Roses, spanning from April 1, 2016, to November 2, 2019. It featured classic lineup members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan, marking the first time since the Use Your Illusion Tour in 1993 that the three performed together. After the previous tour in 2014, guitarists DJ Ashba & Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, bassist Tommy Stinson and keyboardist Chris Pitman left Guns N' Roses, leaving the band with several open spots. Former members Slash and McKagan rejoined the band and Melissa Reese joined as keyboardist. The group embarked on a world tour that spanned all continents except Antarctica. They performed 175 shows making it their third longest tour ever, just behind the Use Your Illusion Tour and the Chinese Democracy Tour. The group welcomed former drummer Steven Adler to the stage for several shows as a guest spot, the first time he had played with the group since 1990. The tour has been a financial success, grossing over $584.2 million, making it the fourth-highest-grossing concert tour of all time. The tour was 2016's highest-earning per-city global concert tour as well as the fourth-highest-grossing overall that year. In 2017, the tour ranked as the second highest grossing worldwide tour. The tour was honored at the Billboard Live Music Awards in November 2017, winning Top Tour/Top Draw and being nominated for Top Boxscore.
New Candys is an Italian alternative rock band formed in Venice in 2008, led by songwriter and singer-guitarist Fernando Nuti with original drummer and current bassist-keyboardist Dario Lucchesi. From 2023 the lineup has included Emanuele Zanardo on lead guitar and backing vocals and Francesco Giacomin on drums and sampler.
The We're F'N' Back! Tour was a concert tour by hard rock band Guns N' Roses spanning from July 31, 2021 to December 10, 2022.
