Erik Ron (born July 4, 1985) is an American producer, mixer, and songwriter based in Los Angeles. He has worked with artists such as Panic! at the Disco, Set It Off, Issues, [1] New Years Day, Too Close to Touch, I the Mighty, [2] [3] Motionless In White, Blessthefall, I See Stars, Sylar, Attila, Godsmack, Staind, and Bush. Erik Ron was born in San Francisco, California, and grew up in the suburb of San Carlos, California, where he attended Carlmont High School. Erik started playing music as a teenager in alternative rock band Impel. After high school, he studied engineering at Musicians Institute College of Contemporary Music in Los Angeles. Erik proceeded to work as in-house engineer at Woodland Ranch Studio between the years of 2005–2008 before working as an engineer under producer/writer John Feldmann between 2008 and 2011 in Bel Air, CA. In 2013, Erik built and opened "Grey Area Studios" in North Hollywood. [9] Since opening the studio to focus on his own production career, Erik has worked with Panic! at the Disco, Set It Off, Issues, [10] New Years Day, Too Close to Touch, I Prevail, Motionless in White, This Wild Life, Young Guns, [11] The Word Alive, [12] Blessthefall, I See Stars, Palisades, [13] Sylar, and Attila, and more. In early 2016, Erik Ron inked an exclusive publishing deal with BMG Rights Management.
In September 2017, it was announced that Ron will be at the helm of the seventh studio album of the rock band Godsmack. [14]

Staind is an American rock band from Springfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1995. The original lineup consisted of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Aaron Lewis, lead guitarist Mike Mushok, bassist and backing vocalist Johnny April, and drummer Jon Wysocki. The lineup has been stable outside of the 2011 departure of Wysocki, who was replaced by Sal Giancarelli. Staind has recorded and released eight studio albums: Tormented (1996), Dysfunction (1999), Break the Cycle (2001), 14 Shades of Grey (2003), Chapter V (2005), The Illusion of Progress (2008), Staind (2011), and Confessions of the Fallen (2023).
Godsmack is an American rock band from Lawrence, Massachusetts, formed in 1995. The band is composed of lead singer and rhythm guitarist Sully Erna, bassist Robbie Merrill, lead guitarist Tony Rombola and drummer Shannon Larkin. Since its formation, Godsmack has released eight studio albums, one EP, four DVDs, one compilation album, and one live album.

New Years Day is an American rock band formed in Anaheim, California, in 2005. After building a reputation strictly through promotion on the social networking website MySpace, the band released its debut self-titled EP in 2006 and their first full-length album My Dear in 2007. Six years after their initial debut, Victim to Villain was finally released, followed by Malevolence in 2015. Malevolence peaked at No. 45 on the Billboard 200, the band's highest charting thus far.

Emmure is an American metalcore band formed in 2003. Originally based in New Fairfield, Connecticut, before moving to Queens, New York, the group has released eight albums, with their first public release being a 2006 EP entitled The Complete Guide to Needlework.
Foxy Shazam is an American rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio formed in 2004. As of 2020, the band's lineup consists of lead vocalist Eric Nally, pianist Sky White, trumpeter and backing vocalist Alex Nauth, bassist The Persistent Savage, guitarist Devin Williams and drummer Teddy Aitkins. The band released their debut album The Flamingo Trigger independently in 2005 before signing with Ferret Music, under which they released their second album Introducing Foxy Shazam in 2008. The following year, the band recorded its first major label record with producer John Feldmann. Foxy Shazam signed with Sire Records and released its self-titled major-label debut in 2010. The band's fourth studio album, The Church of Rock and Roll, was released in January 2012. Gonzo, the band's fifth album, was released April 2, 2014.
A Skylit Drive is an American post-hardcore band from Lodi, California. The band has released one DVD, one EP and five studio albums: Wires...and the Concept of Breathing (2008), Adelphia (2009), Identity on Fire (2011), Rise (2013) and, most recently, ASD (2015). The band has toured internationally both as headliner and supporting act. In 2017, the band broke up after a dispute between Nick Miller and Michael Jagmin. Original vocalist Jordan Blake died in April 2023.
Chelsea Grin is an American deathcore band from Salt Lake City, Utah. Formed in 2007, the group have released two EPs and seven full-length albums. Since 2018, no founding members remain in the band. Despite not being in the original line-up, bassist David Flinn has been the only constant member on all the group's studio albums.
Ferret Music was an American independent record label turned Warner Music Group subsidiary, founded in 1996. The label is owned by metalcore band NORA's vocalist, Carl Severson, and based in West Windsor, New Jersey. Ferret recently started an imprint called New Weathermen Records. Warner Music Group's Alternative Distribution Alliance acquired a stake in Ferret Music in August, 2006, and as a result is currently distributed by Fontana Distribution, Alternative Distribution Alliance and eOne Music.
Caleb Joshua Shomo is an American singer, musician, songwriter, and producer. He is most well known as the lead-vocalist of Beartooth, though he records all studio instrumentals for the band. He is also the former lead vocalist, keyboardist, and early backing vocalist of Attack Attack!, and the owner of Studio Records in Columbus, Ohio. Shomo joined Attack Attack! as keyboardist at 15 years old while maintaining a passion for electronic music and eventually grew into record production by 18.
For All Those Sleeping was an American metalcore band formed in Sartell, Minnesota in 2007. The band released three studio albums, Cross Your Fingers, Outspoken, and Incomplete Me, all of which featured the same line-up. They announced their breakup on October 9, 2014.
Everyone's Out to Get Me is the second studio album by rock band Get Scared, released on November 11, 2013. It's also the first release under their new, label Fearless Records. The album was produced by Erik Ron, who also produced the band EP Built for Blame, Laced With Shame, and has worked with bands such as Panic! at the Disco, Foxy Shazam, Attaloss, Saosin, Allstar Weekend, and more. Alternative Press streamed their new album online on November 7. It is the first release from the band to feature original vocalist Nicholas Matthews since his departure in 2011 and return in late 2012; it is also the first to feature new rhythm guitarist Adam Virostko. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers, selling 3,000 copies in its first week.
I the Mighty is an American rock band based out of San Francisco, California, formed in 2007. As of 2019, the band has released two singles, four EPs, and four studio albums. Their debut wide-release album, Satori, peaked at #10 on the Billboard Heatseekers Charts. In July 2020, the band announced an indefinite hiatus.

Zakk Cervini is an American record producer, vocal producer, songwriter, and mixing engineer. He was born in Monroe, Connecticut on June 2, 1993. Cervini's work includes collaborations with Simple Plan, Limp Bizkit, Blink-182, All Time Low, Machine Gun Kelly, Yungblud, Bring Me the Horizon, 5 Seconds of Summer, Avicii, Halsey, Good Charlotte, Grimes, Bishop Briggs, Poppy, Bad Omens, Architects, Waterparks, and Sleeping with Sirens. His work on Blink-182's California landed him his first Grammy Nomination for Best Rock Album in the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.
