Erik Ron (born July 4, 1985) is an American producer, mixer, and songwriter based in Los Angeles. He has worked with artists such as Panic! at the Disco, Set It Off, Issues, [1] New Years Day, Too Close to Touch, I the Mighty, [2] [3] Motionless In White, Blessthefall, I See Stars, Sylar, Attila, Godsmack, and Staind. Erik Ron was born in San Francisco, California, and grew up in the suburb of San Carlos, California, where he attended Carlmont High School. Erik started playing music as a teenager in alternative rock band Impel. After high school, he studied engineering at Musicians Institute College of Contemporary Music in Los Angeles. Erik proceeded to work as in-house engineer at Woodland Ranch Studio between the years of 2005–2008 before working as an engineer under producer/writer John Feldmann between 2008–2011 in Bel Air, CA. In 2013, Erik built and opened "Grey Area Studios" in North Hollywood. [8] Since opening the studio to focus on his own production career, Erik has worked with Panic! at the Disco, Set It Off, Issues, [9] New Years Day, Too Close to Touch, I Prevail, Motionless in White, This Wild Life, Young Guns, [10] The Word Alive, [11] Blessthefall, I See Stars, Palisades, [12] Sylar, and Attila, and more. In early 2016, Erik Ron inked an exclusive publishing deal with BMG Rights Management.
In September 2017, it was announced that Ron will be at the helm of the seventh studio album of the rock band Godsmack. [13]

Staind is an American rock band from Springfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1995. The original lineup consisted of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Aaron Lewis, lead guitarist Mike Mushok, bassist and backing vocalist Johnny April, and drummer Jon Wysocki. The lineup has been stable outside of the 2011 departure of Wysocki, who was replaced by Sal Giancarelli. Staind has recorded and released eight studio albums: Tormented (1996), Dysfunction (1999), Break the Cycle (2001), 14 Shades of Grey (2003), Chapter V (2005), The Illusion of Progress (2008), Staind (2011), and Confessions of the Fallen (2023).
Godsmack is an American rock band from Lawrence, Massachusetts, formed in 1995. The band is composed of lead singer and rhythm guitarist Sully Erna, bassist Robbie Merrill, lead guitarist Tony Rombola and drummer Shannon Larkin. Since its formation, Godsmack has released eight studio albums, one EP, four DVDs, one compilation album, and one live album.

Their second studio album, Witness, with current vocalist Beau Bokan, was released October 6, 2009. Their third studio album, Awakening, was released on October 4, 2011. Their fourth studio album, Hollow Bodies, was released on August 20, 2013. To Those Left Behind is the band's fifth studio album, released on September 18, 2015. Their sixth studio album, Hard Feelings, was released on March 23, 2018. Following Traynor's departure, Warth became the band's only remaining original member. In May 2023, the band returned from a brief hiatus with the release of "Wake the Dead", their first song in five years.
Weedeater is an American stoner metal and sludge metal band formed in Wilmington, North Carolina in 1998. The group's most recent album, Goliathan, was released in 2015.
His Last Walk is the debut studio album by American metalcore band Blessthefall. The album was released on April 10, 2007. It is the only studio album by the band to feature original vocalist Craig Mabbitt, who would later be replaced by Beau Bokan. The album was released before Blessthefall started to play on the Taste of Chaos tour. The last song, "His Last Walk", features a hidden track called "Purple Dog", which is a joke song made by the band members in which all members sing the song and clap their hands.

It is the band's second album with singer Beau Bokan and first album with rhythm guitarist Elliott Gruenberg after the departure of Mike Frisby. The album was produced by Michael "Elvis" Baskette, producer of the second album, Witness. On September 12, the song "40 Days..." was released on the IGN site. It debuted at No. 32 on the Billboard 200, selling over 11,290 copies in its first week. In Canada, the album debuted at No. 88 on the Canadian Albums Chart. Like Witness, the album features a few songs without harsh screaming or death growls.

The Apocalypse Blues Revue was an American rock band formed in 2016. The band features two members of the rock group Godsmack, Shannon Larkin and Tony Rombola, alongside Brian Carpenter and Ray Cerbone. Originally formed as a blues rock band, the group expanded its sound by adding psychedelic rock to its repertoire with their third album. Larkin said the band's music was intended to "mix the influences from my two favorite classic rock artists—David Bowie and Pink Floyd—with my favorite blues artists: Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughan and B.B.
