Vertical Worship, previously known as Vertical Church Band, is a contemporary Christian and worship band from Rolling Meadows, Illinois, as part of the Harvest Bible Chapel. They are signed to Provident Label Group and have released eight albums through Essential Records: Live Worship from Vertical Church in 2012; Rock Won't Move in 2013; Church Songs on January 16, 2015; [2] Frontiers on July 29, 2016; the self-titled album, Vertical Worship, in 2017; Bright Faith Bold Future on April 6, 2018; Grace Is On Our Side on March 13, 2020; and Build an Altar on September 6, 2024.

Background

The music collective, from Rolling Meadows, Illinois, form Harvest Bible Chapel and started making music in 2012. [3] They have since released multiple worship records.

The band released Live Worship from Vertical Church on July 31, 2012 on Essential Records [4] and it peaked on Billboard 's Christian Albums chart at No. 10 and No. 9 on the Heetseekers Albums chart. [5] Vertical EP was released on May 7, 2013. [6] It was followed by The Rock Won't Move on October 29, 2013 [4] and charted at No. 58 on the Billboard 200, No. 2 on the Christian Albums chart. [5] White EP was released on November 4, 2014. [7] Their third album, Church Songs , was released on January 20, 2015 [4] and peaked at No. 31 on the Billboard 200 and topped the Christian Albums chart [5] and was followed by the "Church Songs Tour & Workshop" national tour concluding in June, 2015. God Is Able is the twentieth album in the live contemporary worship series by Hillsong Church. It was recorded at the Sydney Entertainment Centre in Australia by Reuben Morgan, Darlene Zschech and the Hillsong Worship Team on 7 November 2010. The songwriters include Reuben Morgan, Ben Fielding and Dylan Thomas, Darlene Zschech, Joel Houston, Harrison Wood, Jill McCloghry, Sam Knock, Joel Davies, Jason Ingram and Chris Tomlin. God Is Able debuted at number three on the ARIA Albums Chart. It was nominated at the 43rd GMA Dove Awards for Inspirational Album of the Year. The DVD was recognized at the 2012 ARIA No.1 Chart Awards for spending one week at number one on the Australian chart.

The City Harmonic was a Canadian Christian rock band based in Hamilton, Ontario. Elias Dummer, Eric Fusilier (bass), Aaron Powell (guitar), and Josh Vanderlaan (drums) collectively made up The City Harmonic. Their music has been described as "nostalgic Brit-pop meets campfire sing-along mix that features raucous gang vocals along with agile, soaring anthems crafted to include the listener". Elevation Worship is a contemporary worship music collective from Elevation Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. The collective leads worship in weekend church services at Elevation Church, as well as performing concerts and tours around the United States. The collective has sold over 1.5 million albums in the United States.

<i>We Wont Be Shaken</i> 2013 studio album by Building 429

We Won't Be Shaken is the eighth studio album by Christian rock band, Building 429 and their sixth with a major label in Essential Records. The producers on the album are Rob Hawkins and Jason Ingram. It was released June 4, 2013 through Provident Music Group distribution. It was nominated for "Best Contemporary Christian Music Album" at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. It lost to Overcomer by Mandisa.

Foreverlin is an American Christian alternative indie rock band, and they are from the cities of Cheyenne and Laramie, Wyoming, where the band started making music in 2012. They released, an extended play, Per Sempre in 2012, followed by two studio albums, Long Lost in 2013, with Red Cord Records, and, Still After in 2014, from Pando Records. In 2017, Foreverlin released an EP entitled You Remain, which features covers of worship songs, the Doxology, and an original worship song.

Church Songs is the third live album from Vertical Church Band. Essential Worship released the album on January 20, 2015. They worked with Jacob Sooter in the production of this album.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Zach Williams (musician)</span> Musical artist

Zachary Stephen Williams is an American Christian rock artist from Jonesboro, Arkansas. From 2007 through 2012 he was a member and lead vocalist of Zach Williams & The Reformation. He was also the lead singer of the Christian group Brothers of Grace, renamed as Zach Williams and the Brothers of Grace. In 2016, he went onto a solo career.
