Victoria Maternity Hospital also known as Victoria Zenana Hospital was the second biggest hospital in Hyderabad, India, after Afzalgunj Hospital. The hospital no longer exists and was converted into a block of High Court to house fire engines. The hospital has been shifted to a new location and today this building is called H-block of the High Court. [1] The building was previously categorised as a Heritage Building as per HUDA regulations and in 2010 was delisted from the list of Heritage building so as to be demolished and to be converted into a multi level car park for the employees of High Court and visitors. The government order to demolish was issued in April 2019 and the High Court had proposed that work be taken up in May during the summer vacations. The hospital premises also contains a fountain know as Dog Fountain from Qutub Shahi era which is also set to be demolished. [1] [2] On 16 May 2019, based on an appeal by heritage activists the order to demolish the Zenana building was stayed by High Court. [3]
This was the first hospital built in Hyderabad to exclusively treat women. [4] The foundation of the hospital was laid by Princess of Wales in 1905. [2] The building was built during the reign of the sixth Nizam of Hyderabad. [3] The hospital was earlier known as Zenana Hospital and later renamed as Victoria Maternity Hospital. [1] In 1957, Victoria Zenana Hospital was organised into Government Maternity Hospital. From Osmania General Hospital, maternity and gynaec beds were shifted to the newly reorganised hospital. [5] The world's first qualified women anesthetist Dr Rupa Bai Fardonji had worked in this hospital during the 1900s.

The Royal Exhibition Building is a World Heritage-listed building in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, built in 1879–1880 as part of the international exhibition movement, which presented over 50 exhibitions between 1851 and 1915 around the globe. The building sits on approximately 26 hectares, is 150 metres (490 ft) long and is surrounded by four city streets. It is at 9 Nicholson Street in the Carlton Gardens, flanked by Victoria, Carlton and Rathdowne Streets, at the north-eastern edge of the central business district. It was built to host the Melbourne International Exhibition in 1880–81, and then hosted the even larger Centennial International Exhibition in 1888, and the formal opening of the first Parliament of Australia in 1901. The building is representative of the money and pride Victoria had in the 1870s. Throughout the 20th century smaller sections and wings of the building were subject to demolition and fire; however, the main building, known as the Great Hall, survived.
The Charminar is a monument located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Constructed in 1591, the landmark is a symbol of Hyderabad and officially incorporated in the emblem of Telangana. The Charminar's long history includes the existence of a mosque on its top floor for more than 425 years. While both historically and religiously significant, it is also known for its popular and busy local markets surrounding the structure, and has become one of the most frequented tourist attractions in Hyderabad. Charminar is also a site of numerous festival celebrations, such as Eid-ul-adha and Eid al-Fitr, as it is adjacent to the city's main mosque, the Makkah Masjid.
The Women's and Children's Hospital (WCH) is a hospital dedicated to the care of women and children in Adelaide, South Australia. Mir Osman Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VII was the last Nizam (ruler) of the Princely State of Hyderabad, the largest state in the British Indian Empire. He ascended the throne on 29 August 1911, at the age of 25 and ruled the State of Hyderabad between 1911 and 1948, until India annexed it. He was styled as His Exalted Highness (H.E.H) the Nizam of Hyderabad, and was widely considered one of the world's wealthiest people of all time. With some estimates placing his wealth at 2% of U.S. GDP, his portrait was on the cover of Time magazine in 1937. As a semi-autonomous monarch, he had his mint, printing his currency, the Hyderabadi rupee, and had a private treasury that was said to contain £100 million in gold and silver bullion, and a further £400 million of jewels. The major source of his wealth was the Golconda mines, the only supplier of diamonds in the world at that time. Among them was the Jacob Diamond, valued at some £50 million, and used by the Nizam as a paperweight.
Nilüfer Hanımsultan;, nicknamed as the Kohinoor of Hyderabad, was an Ottoman princess. She was the first wife of Moazzam Jah, the second son of Mir Osman Ali Khan, the last Nizam of Hyderabad in India.
The Parliament House in Sydney is a heritage-listed complex of buildings housing the Parliament of the state of New South Wales, Australia. The building is located on the east side of Macquarie Street in Sydney, the state capital. The façade consists of a two-storey Georgian building, the oldest public building in the City of Sydney, flanked by two neo-gothic additions containing the parliamentary chambers. The Old City of Hyderabad is a walled city of Hyderabad, Telangana, India, located on the banks of the Musi River built by Qutb Shahi sultan Muhammed Quli Qutb Shah in 1591 AD. There used to be a wall surrounding the Old City, most of which is destroyed. Mubariz Khan, the Mughal governor of Deccan Subah, had fortified the city in 1712 and was completed by Nizam of Hyderabad.

The Portland Royal Naval Hospital was a naval hospital on the Isle of Portland, Dorset, England. Portland Harbour was a naval anchorage and fuelling facility, which grew to become a Naval Base and Royal Dockyard. A RN Hospital was initially established in the dockyard area in the 1870s, which served until it was replaced by a new purpose-built naval hospital, located close to Castletown, at the beginning of the 20th century. It closed in 1957, when it was handed over to the National Health Service, which still runs the hospital. It is now known as Portland Community Hospital.
