Vidyananthan a/l Ramanadhanis a Malaysian politician who has served as Member of the Johor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Kahang since March 2008. He served as Member of the Johor State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Barisan Nasional (BN) state administration under former Menteri Besar Hasni Mohammad from March 2020 to March 2022 for the second term and under former Menteri Besar Mohamed Khaled Nordin from May 2013 to the collapse of the BN state administration in May 2018 for the first term. He is a member and State Chairman of Johor of the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC),a component party of the BN coalition.
In the morning of 10 July 2022,the father of Vidyananthan,namely D. Ramanadhan,died at the age of 79 at Batu Pahat Hospital,Johor,due to old age,leaving behind two children including Vidyananthan and two grandchildren. Ramanadhan is the former senior assistant of SK Pendidikan Khas Princess Elizabeth Johor Baru and former headmaster of SKPK St Nicholas Penang and SKPK Alma Penang. The funeral rites for Ramanadhan were held at Jalan Azizul Rahman,Kamunting in Taiping,Perak at 2 pm the next day on 11 July 2022. His remains were cremated at the Prestavest Memorial Park Taiping on the same day. [1]

Second Class of the Sultan Ibrahim of Johor Medal (PSI II) (2015) [5] Gan Peck Cheng is a Malaysian politician and kindergarten teacher who has served as Member of the Johor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Penggaram since May 2013. She served as Deputy Speaker of the Johor State Legislative Assembly from June 2018 to January 2022 and State Leader of the Opposition of Johor from October 2015 to May 2018. She is a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) and formerly Pakatan Rakyat (PR),Barisan Alternatif (BA) and Gagasan Rakyat (GR) coalitions.
Sahruddin bin Jamal is a Malaysian politician and physician who has served as Member of the Johor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Bukit Kepong since May 2018. He served as the 17th Menteri Besar of Johor from April 2019 to the collapse of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) state administration in February 2020 and Member of the Johor State Executive Council (EXCO) in the PH state administration under former Menteri Besar Osman Sapian from May 2018 to his promotion to the Menteri Besarship in April 2019 as well as Chairman of the Malaysian Pineapple Industry Board (MPIB) from May 2020 to December 2022. He is a member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU),a component party of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) and formerly PH coalitions. He is also the shortest-serving Menteri Besar of Johor in the history of the Johor after serving in the position for only 321 days.
Dato' Ir. Haji Hasni bin Mohammad is a Malaysian politician and engineer who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Simpang Renggam since November 2022 and Member of the Johor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Benut since March 2008. He served as the 18th Menteri Besar of Johor from February 2020 to March 2022,Leader of the Opposition of Johor from June 2018 to February 2020,Member of the Johor State Executive Council (EXCO) from May 2013 to May 2018 and Member of Parliament (MP) for Pontian from March 2004 to March 2008 and Chairman of the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) from August 2022 to December 2022. He is member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO),a component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He had served as the State Chairman of BN of Johor from 2018 to 2023. He also served as the State Chairman of UMNO of Johor from July 2018 to his removal from the position in January 2023 and Division Chief of UMNO of Pontian from 2001 to his defeat in the party elections in March 2023.

He is a member of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA),a component party of the BN coalition. He has also served as the Youth Chief of MCA since September 2023. He is also the Organising Secretary of MCA,Youth Chief of MCA of Johor,Division Chief of Ayer Hitam of MCA. He is one of the only two Johor EXCO members of Chinese ethnicity and of MCA alongside Lee Ting Han.
