Vidyullekha Raman (born 4 November 1991), also known as Vidyu Raman, is an Indian actress and comedian who appears in Tamil and Telugu films. The daughter of actor Mohan Raman, Vidyullekha made her debut in Gautham Vasudev Menon's 2012 Neethaane En Ponvasantham . [1] She won the Nandi Award for Best Female Comedian for the film Run Raja Run (2014).
Vidyullekha did her schooling in Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School and later went to MCTM Matriculation, where she developed an interest in theatre and acting. She gained her popularity doing stage productions during her college years at M.O.P. Vaishnav College, where she graduated with a degree in Visual Communication.
She has over 7 years of theater experience. [2] She made her debut in Gautham Vasudev Menon's 2012 bilingual films Neethaane En Ponvasantham and Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu , appearing as Jenny, a friend of the character portrayed by Samantha. The actress has since played pivotal roles opposite N. Santhanam in Sundar C's Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru , [3] in Malini 22 Palayamkottai and the Telugu film Ramayya Vasthavayya . She was seen in minor roles in both 2014 Pongal releases Jilla and Veeram . She has since then shifted her base to the Telugu film industry. [4] She emerged as the 3rd runner up in the cooking comedy show Cooku with Comali season 3 .
The actress is the daughter of Indian Tamil actor Mohan Raman, while her grandfather was lawyer V. P. Raman. Another uncle, P. S. Raman, was the former Advocate General of Tamil Nadu. Her cousin Gitanjali is married to Tamil filmmaker Selvaraghavan.
Raman got engaged to Sanjay on 26 August 2020 and announced it on Instagram. The couple got married on September 9, 2021, in an intimate ceremony. [5]

Gautham Vasudev Menon is an Indian film director, screenwriter, film producer and actor who predominantly works in Tamil film industry. He has also directed Telugu and Hindi films that either simultaneously shot with or remakes of his own Tamil films. He has won two National Film Awards, three Nandi Awards and one Tamil Nadu State Film Award.
Llewellyn Anthony Gonsalvez is an Indian film editor from Tamil Nadu. He was introduced to cinema through film director Gautham Vasudev Menon by the film Kaakha Kaakha (2003). He continued to collaborated with Gautham V. Menon by Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu (2006), Pachaikili Muthucharam (2007), Vaaranam Aayiram (2008), Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (2010), Neethaane En Ponvasantham (2012), Yennai Arindhaal (2015), Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada (2016) and Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu (2022). Following the success of these films, director Shankar has collaborated with him through Enthiran (2010). He has worked in over two-hundred Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada films. He is the editor for India's most expensive feature film 2.0 (2018).
Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language musical romantic drama film written and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, starring Silambarasan and Trisha. Jointly produced by Elred Kumar, Jayaraman, VTV Ganesh and P. Madan under the banner Escape Artists Motion Pictures and RS Infotainment, the film was distributed by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. The story was simultaneously shot in Telugu as Ye Maaya Chesave, starring Naga Chaitanya and Samantha.

Photon Kathaas was an Indian film production company led by director Gautham Vasudev Menon. It was established in 2010 by Menon along with Venky Somasundaram and Reshma Ghatala, who worked as the co-promoters. Its name is derived from Gautham Menon's original company Photon Factory, which had previously co-produced several of Menon's films like Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu and Kaakha Kaakha, its Telugu remake Gharshana and Pachaikili Muthucharam.

The film features score and soundtrack composed by Ilaiyaraaja and cinematography by M. S. Prabhu. It was simultaneously shot in Tamil as Neethaane En Ponvasantham with Jiiva replacing Nani. The film received five Nandi Awards.
Neethaane En Ponvasantham is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film co written, co produced and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, starring Jiiva and Samantha. This film is shot simultaneously in Telugu, Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu, with Nani replacing Jiiva, while the team also briefly filmed an incomplete Hindi version with Aditya Roy Kapoor, with Samantha playing the leading female role in all three versions. The film is based on a story written by Reshma Ghatala, who produced the film alongside Elred Kumar, Venkat Somasundaram and Menon. The cinematography was handled by M. S. Prabhu and Om Prakash. The film's background score and soundtrack were composed by Ilaiyaraaja which went on to become a chartbuster, and the soundtrack album sold a record 8.5 million units through various platforms on its release.

Neethaane En Ponvasantham is the soundtrack album, composed by Ilaiyaraaja, to the Indian romance film of the same name, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon that stars Jiiva and Samantha. The album features eight tracks, with lyrics penned by Na. Muthukumar. The album was one of the most anticipated musicals of 2012 in Tamil cinema. The production house sold the musical rights at an altitudinous price of ₹20 million (US$240,000), setting a record price for audio rights acquirement which were sold to Sony Music India. It was released during a live concert on 1 September 2012. The film's Telugu version, Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu, also directed by Gautham Menon, reuses the same soundtrack.

Udhay Avishek Karthik is an Indian actor who has appeared in Tamil language films. Closely associated with director Gautham Vasudev Menon, Karthik has worked previously as Menon's assistant in the films Pachaikili Muthucharam (2007) and Vaaranam Aayiram (2008), before making a breakthrough as an actor through the director's experimental thriller Nadunisi Naaygal (2011).
