Vinoth Babu is an Indian television actor who appears in Tamil television serials. He is well known for her role as Velmurugan in Sundari Neeyum Sundaran Naanum and SP Vetriselvan in Thendral Vandhu Ennai Thodum . [1] In 2020, he participated Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai season 2 and emerged as the winner. [2]

Career

Vinoth started his career in 2014 as a video jockey and television presenter for the Tamil channel Adithya TV. In 2018, Vinoth made his debut as an actor in the serial Sivagami which aired on Colors Tamil. The following year he played the role of Velmurugan in the serial Sundari Neeyum Sundaran Naanum which aired on Star Vijay. In 2021, he also played the lead role as SP Vetriselvan in Thendral Vandhu Ennai Thodum alongside Pavithra Janani. [3] [4] In 2024, he made his film debut in the suspense thriller film Finder Project 1 which was directed by Vinoth Rajendran. [5]

Personal life

In 2020, Vinoth married his longterm girlfriend Hemalatha Sindhu in a traditional Hindu ceremony. [6] In 2021, the couple had a son. [7]
