Virti Vaghani is an Indian actress and model, known for Jai Shri Krishna (2008) and Hope Aur Hum (2018). She has also appeared in more than 100 commercials.

Acting career

Virti initially started as a child artist by advertising for well-known brands such as Whirlpool, Kwality Walls, Clinic Plus Shampoo, Dettol Soap, Knorr Soup, Mobilla [1] and Colgate. [2] She started her career in the year 2008 with the television show Jai Shri Krishna where playing a role for child Radha premiered on Colors TV which have been shared with Nick Channel. [3] [4] Recently, which is being dubbed and telecast in Tamil and Bengali TV channels. [5] [6] Afterwards, she worked in Patiala House in 2008, stars Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma, directed by Nikkhil Advani which was her first debut in bollywood. [7] And in 2018, she worked a Comedy-drama film Hope Aur Hum, [8] [9] starring Naseeruddin Shah and Sonali Kulkarni. [10] [11] In a case, playing the role of Tanu from Hope Aur Hum, she was facing difficulty in pronouncing a few words correctly, then Naseeruddin Shah became helpful and tried ‘Henry Higgins’ trick on her which was fascinating as she claimed. [12] In 2020, she appeared in the Disney+Hotstar web series ‘Aarya’, featuring Sushmita Sen, Chandrachur Singh and Sikandar Kher. [13] She plays the role of Aarya's teenage daughter Arundhati, who is typically in her teen stage of life and usually threatened to fall into an immoral relationship. [14]

Produced by Madhvani under the banner Ram Madhvani Films, along with Endemol Shine Group, it stars Sushmita Sen in the title role and is based on the Dutch drama series Penoza. The series is about Aarya, an independent woman who seeks to protect her family and joins a mafia gang in order to get revenge for her husband's murder. Sushmita Sen is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi cinema and two Tamil films. She made her debut in 1996 with Mahesh Bhatt's thriller Dastak. In 1999, Sen won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of a model in David Dhawan's critically and commercially successful comedy-drama Biwi No.1. Modi is also known for being the showrunner and director of The Night Manager, starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor and Sobhita Dhulipala; produced by Ink Factory and Banijay, and is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. Other than TV series, Modi has also written and directed Chumbak, which had a world premiere on October 13, 2017, at MAMI 19th Mumbai Film Festival.
