"Hips Don't Lie" is a song by Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira featuring Haitian rapper Wyclef Jean, released by Epic Records in 2006 as the second single from Shakira's seventh studio album, Oral Fixation, Vol. 2 (2005). Shakira and Jean wrote the lyrics and jointly composed the music with additional co-writing by Shakira's percussionist Archie Pena. The song was produced by Shakira and Jean with additional co-production by Jerry Duplessis. "Hips Don't Lie" is a reworking of Jean's earlier single "Dance Like This", therefore it features additional composing credits by Omar Alfanno, Duplessis, Luis Días, and LaTavia Parker. The song incorporates samples from "Amores Como el Nuestro" written by Alfanno, and "Carnaval " written by Días.
Luis Alberto Cuevas Olmedo, better known as Beto Cuevas, is a Chilean-Canadian singer, song writer, plastic artist, painter, and actor. He is the lead singer for the Chilean band La Ley. In 2008 he launched his solo career with the release of his album, Miedo Escénico. In 2012 he released his second album, Transformación.

The song was written by Xabi San Martín, keyboardist of the Spanish pop band La Oreja de Van Gogh, and was intended to be included in one of the band's albums. Rubio took an interest in the song and recorded it in 2005 at her home studio in Miami, and it was produced by Cachorro López. Musically, "Ni Una Sola Palabra" is a pop rock song with elements from synth-pop, new wave and electronic.

He has been a keyboardist, remixer, programmer and producer for metal band Fear Factory, record producer for Beto Cuevas and Chroma Key, and keyboard player for the metal/industrial act 16 Volt. Tushar has also done remixes for Korn, Puddle of Mudd and Megadeth, among others.

CNCO was a Latin American boy band based in Miami, Florida. The group consisted of Richard Camacho, Erick Brian Colón, Christopher Vélez and Zabdiel De Jesús; Joel Pimentel was a member until his departure in May 2021. They won a five-year recording contract with Sony Music Latin after becoming the winning competitors of the first season of La Banda. The band toured with Ricky Martin. Their debut and second singles "Tan Fácil" and "Quisiera", charted well soon after their debut. They released their first album, Primera Cita, on August 26, 2016, which included the hit "Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos)".

The group released their debut single "Tan Fácil" in January 2016, which peaked at number 23 on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart. Later in May, they released "Quisiera", which reached number 29 on the chart. The band released their anticipated debut album, Primera Cita, on August 26 of the same year, which achieved a Gold certification in the U.S. The group gained international recognition after the release of their third single "Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos)". It has been certified 5× platinum in the Latin field of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and its video reached over 1 billion views in less than a year, making them the first boyband to achieve the feat.
