Radio Joe, Inc. aims to entertain, inspire, and enrich listeners through an eclectic mix of musical, cultural, educational, and community affairs programs and services. Our station acts as forum for people and issues that typically lack media access and promotes positive social change.

Our Educational goal of Radio Joe, Inc. is to strengthen our community by using public access internet and radio to:

  1. Facilitate the sharing of information.
  2. Enhance community dialogue.
  3. Encourage individual and artistic expression.
  4. Create an awareness of local interests, views and cultures.
  5. Provide a vehicle for collaborative problem-solving.
  6. Promote community involvement.
  7. To be a resource for the local student and to provide internships in broadcasting.
  8. To ensure community safety, with live broadcasts and FCC compliant CAP/EAS equipment.

Radio Joe Inc is for people who are denied a voice in the mainstream media. We challenge the status que [sic] in response to the ever-tightening control of public information by elite media corporations. Radio Joe Inc does not promote vapid lifestyles or assembly line ideology that passes for news in this country and our community. We use the public airwaves for news, music, performance, and for communicating with each other about our real daily lives in and around the St Joseph, Missouri communities

Radio Joe, Inc. is a non-hierarchical, decisively anti-authoritarian, pro-feminist, anti-racist, and anti-homophobic. Our programming is anti-commercial, and non-partisan.
