World Series of Fighting Global Championship 2: Japan was a mixed martial arts event held on February 7, 2016 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan. [1]
The event was headlined by a fight between Evgeny Erokhin and Brandon Cash for the inaugural WSOF GC Heavyweight Championship. Erokhin fought for the belt against Jeremy May in November at WSOF GC: China 1, but the fight ended in a no contest because of an eye poke. [2]

The American Kickboxing Academy (AKA) is a martial arts gym based in San Jose, California. It is one of the pioneering schools of mixed martial arts (MMA). AKA headquarters is located in South San Jose. In 2014 AKA opened AKA Thailand Gym in Phuket Thailand. Prominent trainers include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu master Leandro Vieira, Bob Cook, Derek Yuen, Javier Mendez, and Andy Fong. Within the facility, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling and Boxing classes are taught. Additional programs include conditioning and circuit training with TRX Suspension and Combat Circuit. American Kickboxing Academy is one of the top professional MMA training camps. As of March 2, 2020, the AKA roster includes both the #1 and the UFC Lightweight Champion and #6 ranked fighter Daniel Cormier in the official UFC pound-for-pound rankings.
Mike Kyle is an American professional mixed martial artist and boxer currently competing in the Heavyweight division. A professional competitor since 2001, Kyle has competed for the UFC, the WEC, Strikeforce, the World Series of Fighting, Absolute Championship Berkut, Pancrase, King of the Cage, and is the former King of the Cage Light Heavyweight Champion.
Vinicius "Vinny" de Magalhães, is a Brazilian mixed martial artist who competes in the Professional Fighters League's Light heavyweight division. A professional competitor since 2006, he was a finalist in The Ultimate Fighter: Team Nogueira vs. Team Mir and has fought five times within two stints with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is the former Titan FC Light heavyweight Champion, M-1 Global Light heavyweight Champion and is also a former jiu-jitsu no-gi world champion and ADCC champion. Shawn Martin Jordan is an American professional mixed martial artist who competes in the Professional Fighters League's Heavyweight division. A professional competitor since 2009, Jordan has also formerly competed for Strikeforce, Bellator MMA and Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The Professional Fighters League (PFL) is a mixed martial arts league. It is the first professional MMA organization to present MMA in a format in which individual athletes compete in a regular season, post-season, and championship. PFL acquired World Series of Fighting (WSOF) in 2017. PFL debuted its inaugural season on June 7, 2018 at Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY. In 2018, each champion in the six weight classes won a championship prize of $1 million each. PFL is broadcast in the US on ESPN.
