<span class="mw-page-title-main">Melvin Guillard</span> American mixed martial arts fighter

Melvin Paul Guillard, Jr. is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the Middleweight division. Guillard most notably competed in the Lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Bellator MMA and World Series of Fighting. He debuted in the company on The Ultimate Fighter 2 television series, losing to Josh Burkman by decision in the first Welterweight elimination bout.

Anthony Kewoa Johnson was an American mixed martial artist. He spent most of his career competing for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he was a multiple time title challenger, before ending his career with a single fight with Bellator MMA. He fought in the welterweight, middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions. He was known by his nickname, Rumble, which he was given because of his one-punch knockout power. He also had a small acting role as a fighter in a large international mixed martial arts tournament called Sparta in the 2011 film Warrior.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Rousimar Palhares</span> Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter

Rousimar Palhares is a Brazilian mixed martial artist currently competing in the Welterweight division of Absolute Championship Akhmat (ACA). A professional competitor since 2006, he has competed for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), World Series of Fighting (WSOF), Fight Nights Global (FNG), and Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki (KSW). His nickname Toquinho, Portuguese for "little tree stump", comes from his short, stocky, heavily muscled build and the low success rate his opponents have had in grappling him down to the canvas. Palhares is primarily known for his powerful ground game. Of his 16 submission victories 12 have come from leg locks. He is also known for his refusal to release submission holds when either the opposing fighter has signaled submission or the referee has called a stop to the bout, causing him to be fired by the UFC, and WSOF.

Blagoy Ivanov is a Bulgarian mixed martial artist and Sambo practitioner who competes in the Heavyweight division. Having previously competed for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), he was also the 2008 Combat Sambo World Champion and the former World Series of Fighting Heavyweight champion.

David Branch is an American former mixed martial artist who competed as a middleweight. A professional competitor since 2007, he has fought for the UFC, World Series of Fighting, Bellator, Shark Fights, and Titan FC. Branch is the former WSOF Light Heavyweight Champion and WSOF Middleweight Champion.

Luis Vicente Palomino is a Peruvian-American mixed martial artist and bare-knuckle fighter who is the current Lightweight champion Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, he once held both Lightweight and Welterweight, making him the first “double champ” in the BKFC. He also competed in the Lightweight division for the World Series of Fighting and Absolute Championship Berkut. In addition, he previously fought in the featherweight division.

Michael Johnson is an American professional mixed martial artist. Johnson currently fights in the Lightweight division for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). A professional MMA competitor since 2008, Johnson mostly competed in his regional circuit, before signing onto the Ultimate Fighting Championship to appear on The Ultimate Fighter: Team GSP vs. Team Koscheck, in which he was the runner-up.

Jessica Aguilar is a Mexican mixed martial artist who competes in RIZIN. At the time of her voluntary departure from World Series of Fighting, she was the reigning WSOF Women's Strawweight Champion. Aguilar previously competed for Bellator Fighting Championships and Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Mike Ricci is a Canadian former mixed martial artist who competed for the Ultimate Fighting Championship and has also fought in Bellator MMA.

Marlon Moraes is a Brazilian former professional mixed martial artist who last competed in the Featherweight division of the Professional Fighters League (PFL). He previously competed in the bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and World Series of Fighting (WSOF), the original incarnation of the PFL. He was the former and inaugural WSOF Bantamweight Champion.

World Series of Fighting 9: Carl vs. Palhares was a mixed martial arts event held March 29, 2014 in Paradise, Nevada, United States.

World Series of Fighting 11: Gaethje vs. Newell was a mixed martial arts event held on July 5, 2014, in the United States. This event aired live in prime time on NBC.

World Series of Fighting 18: Moraes vs. Hill was a mixed martial arts event held February 12, 2015, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This event aired on NBCSN in the U.S and on TSN2 in Canada.

World Series of Fighting 22: Palhares vs. Shields was a mixed martial arts event held August 1, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. This event aired on NBCSN in the U.S and on Fight Network in Canada.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Justin Gaethje</span> American mixed martial artist (born 1988)

Justin Ray Gaethje is an American professional mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the Lightweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). A professional competitor since 2011, he is a former UFC Interim Lightweight Champion, and former UFC BMF Champion. He is the second fighter in the history of the UFC to be awarded the BMF championship after winning the title at UFC 291. As of April 16, 2024, he is #3 in the UFC lightweight rankings.

World Series of Fighting 34: Gaethje vs. Firmino was a mixed martial arts event promoted by the World Series of Fighting that was held on December 31, 2016 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. The event was set to air live in prime time on NBC.

Timur Arsenovich Valiev is a Russian mixed martial artist who competes in the bantamweight division of Absolute Championship Akhmat (ACA). Valiev previously fought in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Professional Fighters League (PFL).

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Hakeem Dawodu</span> Canadian mixed martial artist

Hakeem Tyrone Dawodu is a Canadian mixed martial artist, currently signed to Ultimate Fighting Championship and fights in the Featherweight division. He previously competed for the World Series of Fighting.

Apostolis "Smealinho" Rama is a Greek mixed martial artist currently competing in the Light Heavyweight division. He competed in the Professional Fighters League, where he was the promotion's inaugural Heavyweight Champion, and also competed in the MFC.
